The service is outstanding all hours of the day. The staff are attentive, knowledgable on the menu and welcoming.
The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the decor is lovely.
We had three course meals over two nights. The soufflé starter was exquisite, as were the chicken breast and pork belly dishes. The only let down was the filet steak on our first night. The quality of meat wasn’t 5/5 and unfortunately neither steak was cooked correctly to medium rare. One plate was medium and the other more rare. This was the only letdown and why the restaurant didn’t receive a perfect score.
But we would return and highly recommend this establishment.”

“Really lovely place. Walked to it from Chippenham, could easily walk to it from Calne too I reckon. The views from the garden are great, you can make out a white horse on a hill across the valley so long as the tree between here and there doesn't have leaves on it. Only had drinks which were lovely and not very expensive.”
