Hands down the best baked goods I’ve ever had. I think I’ve had the tastiest blondie of my life and then they go and create a new flavour?! The creativity of the team at the Good Load knows no bounds, and the friendly atmosphere that surrounds their trailer wherever they go is wholesome and priceless. What better combo could you ask for?! Could not recommend them more!!

A beautiful little cafe/bakery, independent and family run by the river in Melksham. All the cakes and pastries are freshly baked in store, and they are amazing. Great coffee and a selection of cold drinks and smoothies, too. The outdoor seating area is large and covered, and they are very dog friendly and even have homemade dog treats. So if you are a coffee, cake and dog lover you really need to visit.

Amazing coffee and cakes. I look forward to trying a toastie on my next visit. Lovely friendly atmosphere inside and out, which will be great to enjoy on a sunny day next to the River Avon.Highly recommended.

Really loved every cake we have had so far but the cinnamon bun was really bad. Was so dry, and not sweet. The cinnamon filling was just the spice and not a buttery sweet filling. Everything else tho is very good

Hidden gem on the river serving great drinks, delicious cakes and tasty sandwiches right on the river Avon. Perfect for a quick bite to eat if shopping or getting your car washed!!

I have always thought that the terrace opposite Sainsburys, alongside the Avon Enterprise Park would make an excellent venue for riverside restaurants and it has begun!! The Good Loaf Cafe has opened up, on a morning to lunchtime basis, with "Al fresco" facilities, a brilliantly friendly atmosphere and great pastries for my mid morning break.I hope to become a regular.

Lovely food and friendly staff. If you have a dog bring it along so it can be added to the wall of fame!

Really lovely outdoor cafe, not overpriced, good coffee and dog friendly too. Really worth a visit, staff are incredibly friendly and that really does make a difference.
