Looking at the Takeaways reviews, 2020 the start of Covid, has brought their ratings down for 2 yrs. People have dissed this company. We have just tried it, expecting the worst, as being new to the area we thought we'd give it a go. Most surprisingly, the food is absolutely Fabulous! The ordering at the desk was quick and easy with an English-speaking guy. (Adored the coloured hair he had) The food arrived quickly, and as we were at the end of the queue, it still arrived quickly. We ordered on a Friday at about 8.30 pm inside the shop. The food was piping hot when we opened it up. Portion size is small trays, but no bulkers. The food wasn't bulked out with Onions, Mushrooms, Peppers, sauce/gravy, and other bulkers that Chinese Takeaways use. The food was fresh, crunchy, well cooked, and NOT sloppy, and as good as a 5-star Chinese restaurant, (as in Toronto, Canada) for what we had. king prawn Chop Suey, Sweet n Sour Chicken balls Chicken Chop Suey Crispy Beef Strips, - which my partner said was really crispy and supercharged with Chilli, which is how it should be, not covered in a ton of sauce as other takeaways do. The inside of the Takeaway looks shabby and could do with an update and revamp, it doesn't shout quality and the Chinese Cat has stopped working, which is a sign of reaping the money. You get them in virtually every Chinese business. A good luck charm. The inside looked very tired and had seen better days. It gave us a bad impression when we arrived. Highly recommend this business, it has a 5-star hygiene rating, so you know the food handling quality is excellent. Can't go wrong.

We devoured Singapore noodles that were bursting with flavor, with their spicy curry and tangy sauces mixing together in our mouth. And those chicken balls, they were so crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, they made us want to gobble them all up in one bite.But the beef with ginger and spring onion, oh my goodness, it was like a taste explosion in our mouth! The tender slices of beef were cooked to perfection, and the ginger and spring onion added just the right amount of zing and crunch to the dish. It was a symphony of flavors that left us feeling satisfied and happy, yes we were!Overall, we would highly recommend this meal to anyone looking for a delicious and filling dinner. It was a delightful mix of spicy, savory, and sweet, and it made us feel like we were on a culinary adventure. We'll definitely be coming back for more, my precious, yes we will!
This takeaway is absolutely brilliant, the food is cheap and very good value my family ( 5 people) ordered and all of our food was delicious and still hot when it was brought home, so very good for if you want a quick meal. The staff are very friendly and hard working as well, I thoroughly recommend this takeaway for anybody

Double decent, we drive from our town that has two Chinese takeaways to order from here. Always lovely and fresh, never stodgy. Thick and crunchy prawn crackers, never oily. Spot on

If I could give this a zero star I would. I have used this Chinese in 2018 and it was the best nothing bad about it! However they must of changed hands since then as I had a Chinese with friends on 22/01 and it was diabolical! The satay sauce was so watery it looked like a mix of washing up water and mushroom soup! The colour wasn’t even the right colour it was grey!? the chow mein was also watery and next to no noodles in it.The spring rolls without a doubt were not the ‘mini spring rolls’ that were on the menu! They’re were honestly donut shaped and we thought they were fritters but they were sloppy ‘spring rolls’. There was so much wrong with this Chinese but I don’t have the time to write it all!This was a £80 order and to top it off one bag of prawn crackers between 6 adults and 3 children. Despite asking for two! The service was petty too. Definitely won’t be returning ever again. Food was overall awful, colourless and bland. £80 down the drain.

Had a takeaway with friends on 22/01/23. Have used this Chinese before and never had an issue however on this particular day the food was utterly disgusting. There was no flavour to the curry sauce and everything was just so bland. I had chicken fried rice, curry sauce and smoked chicken which was just an insult to my taste buds! My partner ended up with a dodgy tummy the following day after having just sweet and sour chicken balls. Not only were my partner and I disappointed by the poor quality of food but our other friends were too! Never again will I be ordering from this Chinese!
