“CASH ONLY. Food was fantastic, perfect and enough. Service was lively and friendly. Cutlery clean, unlike other places. It's a good sign when the hash brown is not placed in the liquid of the tomatoes or beans. Also nice to have my toast buttered before arrival. Bacon was good, egg perfect, better than usual tomatoes, chips nice and crisp on the outside - soft in the middle - just right. Nice coffee too.I've just got to remember to get cash before entering.”

“We stopped in for some light food after an afternoon trip to the cinema on a Friday evening. It was pretty busy but we managed to get a table in the main bar area very quickly. The staff were busy but friendly. It took a while for them to clear the previous occupiers' glasses and plates, but otherwise the service was good. The food was surprisingly delicious! I didn't have high expectations but the small plates were very nice, especially the massaman cauliflower and the harissa broccoli.I had non-alcoholic spritz which was excellent. The crowd was a very strange cross section of people but it actually worked.Vegetarian options: There were a lot of good vegetarian small plate options”

“I had lunch here on 26/10/23 with a group of friends having pre booked a large group all having different dishes . The food was excellent and clearly freshly cooked to order so don’t expect instant service ( which was excellent ). The array of choices on the menu was good although I would suggest more choice for vegans or those with food intolerance? Having said that they were more than happy to “ tweak “ the dish I chose . Would highly recommend this pub to anyone , but don’t expect cheap , fast food ! It’s far better than that !”

“Restaurant, pub, and Fun Bus were great. Good food for a good price. Close to attractions. Rooms were ok. Beds were clean and comfortable. Bathroom was not very clean. Toilet didn't flush correctly. Shower didn't drain well. The seal on the window was broken so cold air came in all night.”

“Phenomenal experience. Take your time. This place is the real deal. 700 years old. We ate on the top floor. Cask Ales, Mushroom Toast, Tomato Soup, Venison entree. Good solid service and incredible ambiance.”

“Absolutely SUPER. great outdoor space, best pub meal we’ve eaten in a long time. I had scampi (delicious, big), husband had schnitzel and spaghetti (HUGE) and our two little ones (1 and nearly 3) shared a fish goujons, chips and peas. Also huge. Kids delighted by looking at swans. Whole experience super.”

“We tried the spinach-cheese and the minced beef filled pastries and liked them very much!As for popularity, among the lot of vegetarians, like my friend, it was hard to find options for her here, they don't have any vegan options, but we she a compromise with the cheese and she liked it very much. The pastries made us full for long hours while wandering around the Stonehenge and the Cathedral. :)”
