“Had a really good lunch in a big group. Food was great and it's a great atmosphere, but I had a dodgy pint of real ale (going sour). When I took it back, the barman questioned my integrity and judgement ... after some toing and froing, the pint was reluctantly replaced, and 10 minutes later, the beer was taken off and the line cleaned: no apology was offered! IF pubs don't listen to customers, how can they know the small things that need improving? The waiter and waitress for our group were very friendly and 'on it', but this experience soured the occasion unfortunately.”

“Fab for gluten free, milk free. Really unfriendly lady served us, but she finished her shift and somebody lovely and friendly then took over. Stairs to the toilets were a long walk but really dirty, looked never cleaned ever. No parking outside ”

“Leah was a brilliant waiter - she was having to cover a number of extra jobs due to staff being away and we were really impressed with her service and how hard she was ”
“We stopped in for some light food after an afternoon trip to the cinema on a Friday evening. It was pretty busy but we managed to get a table in the main bar area very quickly. The staff were busy but friendly. It took a while for them to clear the previous occupiers' glasses and plates, but otherwise the service was good. The food was surprisingly delicious! I didn't have high expectations but the small plates were very nice, especially the massaman cauliflower and the harissa broccoli.I had non-alcoholic spritz which was excellent. The crowd was a very strange cross section of people but it actually worked.Vegetarian options: There were a lot of good vegetarian small plate options”
