The staff are the most miserable and unresponsive I have across, clearly not happy in there job or serving customers. A smile a hello or thank you good bye isn't difficult ?

My friend and I were staying the evening at the Travelodge to attend a wedding for the evening. We decided to grab something to eat before we went out for the evening. We were undecided where to go between Gregg's and Burger King. Gregg's won as we both love the sausage rolls and coffee. But, we were utterly disappointed that the sausage rolls and presumably the other savoury items were stone cold!!!!As we were eating in we asked if we could have warm ones, only to be told they don't reheat there goods and the display cabinet is not a keep warm cabinet. If we had been told this or there had been a sign on the cabinet telling us the rolls would be cold we could have made the decision to go to Burger King for something hot. To the owners of Gregg's - Gregg's is not Gregg's if your savoury food is not HOT!!!!

Unfortunately I had a poor experience at this Greggs, very out of the ordinary. I got served very quick which is always nice and the lady behind the counter was brilliant, very kind and polite. Unfortunately though the sausage roll and chicken bake that we ordered were stone cold, I’d already left the drive thru before realising this. Disappointing experience especially at 9am when they were not busy.

Sat eating a dry bacon bap with the tiniest smear of ketchup. We stayed at the Travelodge over night and came here for breakfast. Greeted by the most unenthusiastic staff who visibly rolled their eyes at our request for a bacon and omelette baguette (which was on the menu) and a pain au chocolat from the cabinet. I asked whether a cheese and bacon wrap was a pastry or a tortilla wrap to be told they couldn't tell me and offered me the allergy menu. When I established it was indeed a pastry from the counter the lady serving pointed to the label at the bottom corner of the cabinet telling me it says there what it is. If I had noticed the label then I would not have asked. Patronising staff who clearly didn't want to be there or serve customers do not make for a good experience!

Terrible service , the staff seemed half asleep . No hot food , even though it looks like a hot cabinet , never been to a greggs and the pasties, sausage rolls etc haven't been warm/hot.Asked for yum yum and was told in the slowest voice ever , 'we usually do , but no not today '.Requested refund for my cold pasty and there wasn't a problem . Went over to subway and had a HOT cheese and ham toastie

Avoid!!!! Only went in for a sausage bap and a coffee - how can you get that wrong?!? Customer service was lacking, the staff were bickering behind the counter and then I got served a sausage bap that disintegrated (and had the smallest dab of sauce on it). They are letting the Greggs team down at this location.

Been there for first and last time. On my way back from Cornwall Stopped for some sandwich tost with ham and cheese. 20minutes after started driving back home in kent, have to stopped and throw up couple of times. After that drove long way to Kent and next two days my stomach was in pain because of that. So all symptoms are definitively food poisoning. I would for everyone double think before you shop there again.

this place is terrible, 12.30 and not 1 vegan option available, no baked goods, no baguettes or the Cajun roll and the guy behind the counter said they had ran out,

The lady (Mrs unhelpful) had just re-stocked the sausage roll cabinet, they must have come out of an oven of sorts.. as they appeared to be cooked So imagine my surprise, when I picked up mine wrapped in a paper bag, only to discover that it was just luke warm ! I asked for it to be heated up, and was promptly told that they were not allowed to do this... ?. This I found rather strange considering these rolls had only just been placed into the cabinet from an oven. I also asked for some salt, and again I was told that they were not allowed to hand this out...but they didn't have any anyway so I was told to go to Subway. Subway didn't have any either and I was directed to Burger King.. ... pass the parcel! Springs to mind.. My sausage roll wasn't very nice, it was on the stodgy side... plus if it had been hot as it should have been , it would have been much nicer. later I went back to the counter and picked up a sandwich in a "HEAT" packet and asked the woman behind the counter if she could heat this up for me. "YES" came the reply, so I asked her why she could heat this wrapped up sandwich. But not my sausage roll.?? To which she replied that it was a "HOT Sandwich (like my sausage roll should have been!!!) Also our coffees were on the luke warm side, not nice at all!! Mr and Mrs very unhelpful didn't much care either way What a horrid little place!
