Italian Restaurants in Salisbury

“Excellent food, especially the bruschetta starter. It tasted so fresh and oozing flavours, perfect texture. All dishes were complimented by each of us. Of all main courses we had, the half chicken with dips was probably the best. Not the cheapest but reasonable value for money considering the level of food. Receipt photo attached.But... waiters and waitresses walked past us a few times whilst two of us were saying "excuse me " with a hand raised... then took 4 of them to eventually organise one glass of house red, during our main course. Meanwhile the gentleman next to us asked for a glass of water and got it in 30 seconds leaving us gobsmacked. It made us feel like 2nd rate citizens. It's a shame that this happened since it tarnished our experience, hence we probably won't be going back despite the excellent food. Complements to the chef, shame he/she/they and the owner are let down by others. I have however left 4 stars as our experience seems unique and not entirety relevant to everyone else.”

“When visiting Salisbury, we normally have lunch at Leonardos la Piazza. The food has always been excellent and the service friendly and efficient.”

“Came here last week with a couple of friends who recommended it. Service was amazing and attentive and everything is really reasonably priced. I love Italian food a lot, but that was one of the best pizzas I’ve ever eaten. Food came quickly and the decor is excellent.”

“Me and my daughter came for her birthday lunch yesterday and it was lovely! The food was delicious!! My daughter ordered her dessert and the lovely waitress brought it over singing happy birthday to her! I didn’t ask for this so it was so nice they just did it themselves! I didn’t catch her name but she had pink hair =) Thank you so much!”

“Fab for gluten free, milk free. Really unfriendly lady served us, but she finished her shift and somebody lovely and friendly then took over. Stairs to the toilets were a long walk but really dirty, looked never cleaned ever. No parking outside ”

“A nice restaurant with friendly staff within Milton Hall Hotel with easy parking. Menu a little limited and food good but not outstanding. Were not asked how we liked our lamb so for us was overcooked but tasted ok. (like it pink) Excellent starter but desserts did not appeal. Good for a romantic setting.”

“Leah was a brilliant waiter - she was having to cover a number of extra jobs due to staff being away and we were really impressed with her service and how hard she was ”
