“What a fantastic pub! It's decor is beautifully unique, with wonderful nods to local history, and an eclectic collection of furniture that is plentiful and comfortable. I celebrated my 40th birthday here and had a brilliant night. Caz and her team were really accommodating, friendly and helpful. I was able to hire out the back part of the pub, and then take in my own food to serve. Nowhere else in Salisbury even came close to being able to provide this kind of service. The night went without a hitch, with quick service, great value drinks and a wonderful friendly atmosphere. I would 100% recommend Deacons to anyone wanting to have a party, meet with friends or just have a quiet drink - there is no better pub in Salisbury and I encourage everyone to stop in to experience it!”

“I visit this place once a month for Poetika… a regular spoken word night that meets on the Third Tuesday of Every Month. Always a good night. Themed events and the hosts always dress the stage and wear costumes on theme. Good crowd and great atmosphere. The outdoor performance space is styled like a Big Top with one half of the beer garden covered and the top part open to the elements. Disabled access is not really available as access to this building and garden is via a few flights of steps.”

“This is a great pub and hotel to visit! It's a short walk from bus stops and about 15 minutes walk from train station! We stayed here as well, the room was lovely and had everything we needed in it! It was quiet too! The food is lovely, we had a meal and the breakfast which is all freshly cooked!! We have also booked again!!Rooms: Very nice and comfortable, bed good, lovely bathroom too!Nearby activities: Near to bus station if you want to travel around area, station not far but there's lots to see in Salisbury itself! There's the Cathedral and lots of old buildings to look at and if your lucky the market might be on in the market square!Walkability: Most of the city is in walking distance!Food & drinks: There's lots of places to eat and drink you are spoilt for choice! There are also lots of local cafes and bakeries!!”
