“I visited with my family for my birthday lunch on Sunday. We all chose to have the carvery and it was wonderful. The meat was cooked perfectly, as were the vegetables, and the cauliflower cheese was indeed very cheesy. Best carvery I have ever had. Hats off to the chefs!”

“I happened to stop by on a passing trip and had some Fish & Chips. It was the best fish and chips I've ever had in England.

The staff were friendly and hard-working. I've only recently discovered the British tipping culture. The woman who served us deserved a generous tip, but I regret not doing so.

“Fantastic pub. We were a big group of 14 people. Service was great. Food came quickly and was delicious. The roasts and pies highly recommended. Catered for a dairy allergy with no issues.”

“Just been to this venue silent disco can I say your door man was so nice to us we were in a Xmas pub crawl he was kind respectful and greeted us with kindness even after he removed the drunk guy for the disturbance all done quickly and with little disruption to guests we will be back after this visit lovely bar staff and the landlords were so kind please send George out thanks and gratitude”

“Utterly scrumptious! The best meal I had in a really long time! The lamb kidney was cooked to perfection, pork shoulder was tender and juicy and the plaice was mouth-watering… I enjoined it so much that I forgot to take pictures till I was finished! Dessert was delicious too.
