Been living in Ludgershall for over a year now and get a kebab from here weekly. Never had a bad one yet.The Shish has always been good quality meat, the doner is of good quality and tasty too.Portion sizes are generous.Nice homemade chilli and garlic sauce too.

Ordered online and said a time, got there a bit early but only took a couple of minutes. Food was a good portion size and still hot when I got home. Had the vegetable curry which was delicious with plenty of veg in there. My steamed rice was lovely too. Have used Sands many times for my currys and never had a problem.

Let's start with the good, having not ordered a takeaway for a long time from here (it use to be my go too,.just not had the money of late) I went for it tonight, hungry and couldn't be bothered to cook ! Ordered the prawn toast, sweet and sour chicken balls, satay prawns on skewers special.rice and my fav a large spring roll and extra sweet and sour sauce, got the bag of prawn crackers for free. It was hot, it was on time, the prawn skewers, I ate two they were quite nice. The chicken balls, took one bite and that was enough for me, it just didn't taste right, slimy chicken and just a rubbish taste, the rest remain in the bag, the sauce watery, like it had been thinned down. Prawn toast, okay, slightly over done but tasty. Didn't even bother with the rice after I went to my spring roll, no taste except for grease,it was stuck to the bag with just grease, when it used to be so crunchy and yummy..vile taste still hanging in my mouth now and is all I can smell... all in all a total let down for the 30 odd quid I paid, whatever happened to that great takeaway that once was ! I for one won't be recommending or going back again

Don't know what's happened, but the food is rubbish and over an hour for cold food to be delivered. I had a chicken fillet burger, which was thinner than the mayonnaise in it. Please save your money the kebabs are really small. My son ordered a medium it was more extra small.

Superb service and food. Don't have take away often but this is one of the best locally. Regardless of whether you visit or get take out or delivery always lovely service fresh cooked food. Only suggestion could you just do a half size Ludgershall Special please ?

We order weekly, and have noticed over the last few week, the food going down hill. The Salt and pepper chicken, was over cooked and tasted like in was cooked in old fat. I ordered satay chicken which was dry and had to bin it as I couldnt even bit it. All I can say, is they must have a different chef. Shame, used to really love the foood here.

We have regularly ordered takeaway from Sands for nearly 10 years. Their food has always been hot on arrival and of a good standard. I now use their website to order but they've always been polite and helpful on the phone. Their delivery drivers are also very polite. During lockdown they were very busy but still maintained good standards. A real treasure of a business in our community.

I don't know who the management were a couple of years ago, when most of the reviews were written & I didn't read them before moving to Ludgershall a year ago.We ordered multiple times here and the food always lovely (minus once when my chicken was a little bit too chargrilled but still nice and tender.. but they were busy as it was Saturday).Our usual order is shish kebab wrap, chicken kebab wrap, cheesy chips or cheese garlic bread.Partner has had a pizza with donner meat a few times which I don't like but he does.With the chips, the sauce is usually loaded on the chips, not in a pot...so if you're ordering with sauce (garlic is yummy) have that in mind.Definitely better than the others in Ludgershall and around.
