My first visit today and felt very welcome, food was delicious, service was great and the log fire was the icing on the cake. Very warm and friendly, highly recommend this gem ?

Not a bad little pub in a pretty little town. Good selection of ales and ciders, and the food was hearty. Just bang in the middle

Great pub, great atmosphere, great beer, great foodMy better half and I called in this evening (a bank-holiday Saturday evening) for an “quick evening meal”; everything about our visit excelled! The staff are warm and friendly – not just the staff, but all who seem to visit here too.To drink, I had one of the best pints of beer I’ve had in years – I believe there is an art in keeping good beer, and if there is, then there is a craftsman at work here!We both thoroughly enjoyed our meal, good food served with heart – don’t underestimate that last ingredient, imho it’s what can make a good meal great.I’d unreservedly recommend the Boot when you’re Tisbury, all ingredients needed are here for a good night – hope you enjoy as we did … just for fun you can tell them Simon said to call inVegetarian options: As a vegetarian what a pleasent change it is feel catered for and valued as a customer! Lots of vegie options - including on the specails board, which was a very welcome surprise. The food taste's fresh, is prepaired and served with care.
Great food and even better service. We turned up with 7 dogs and the staff were so welcoming and friendly. We'll definitely come back again.Vegetarian options: Quite a few vegetarian options

A thoroughly enjoyable Friday family lunch. Firstly, the beer was excellent. The choice of meals was very wide ranging, which made our coeliac and vegan members of the family very happy. We ate lasagne, fish and chips, chilli, nut roast and vegan curry and all were excellent. Tasty range of puds were enjoyed too. Natalie was attentive and friendly and accommodating of our inquisitive toddler! Highly recommended.Vegetarian options: Good range, and vegan options.Kid-friendliness: Yes.

Always a pleasure to pop into the boot, they’ve looked after us time and time again at short notice in large groups as our archaeology project as well as being a fantastic place for a swift pint or two after a hard day. Whole team is fantastic!

Lunch today was delicious, served by cheerful multi-tasking barman and accompanied by a pint of well-kept Pitch Perfect . The pub itself is old, very atmospheric and welcoming. Plenty of lucky locals at the bar and we would love to return soon!Vegetarian options: Lots! Imaginative choices

What a great place in the Nadder Valley! This pub is a real gem: The ales are excellent, well kept and draught from casks in the Bar, the food is delicious and the quiet garden is a perfect place to relax or listen to music occasionally performed at OpenMic. But most of all the owners are very attentive and friendly. We felt welcome from the very start. Ron, Ruth and Oliver not only gave us very useful information about nearby events and interesting places but introduced us heartily to the locals and made us familiar with local history. Now i. e. we know the place where Ralf Fiennes grew up. The staff is exceptionally friendly and loving. This pub is one in a million. The evenings we spent there were an absolute highlight during our holiday. Johanna and Jürgen
