Gone down hill. We've ordered from here loads of times over the last 10 years but tonight was the first time since its been taken over. Not the same standard at all.Chicken curry was awful. What's happened to the curry sauce? It used to be lovely but today it was dark brown almost gravy looking and really grainy.Chips were dry and again they must have changed suppler as not nice at all.Really didn't enjoy it at all Sorry we won't be back. Now to try and find a new regular Chinese

We have always used this takeaway as we like the food. Visited recently and it has new owners who were welcoming and said it had changed for the better. Sadly, the food was not as good as we're used to: Smaller chicken balls, sauce had less flavour. In fact all our dishes had less flavour and no complementary prawn crackers. Not returned since. Very disappointing. Looking for alternatives now ☹Parking: Parking available

Looks like new owners, had sweet & sour chicken balls with egg fried rice tonight and there was only a small amount of chicken in the ball the rest was dough when before you got big bit of chicken in the ball and the sweet and sour sauce was runny not thick like before, the rice was ok

Just been taken over by the original owners again so was expecting a good meal. Not so, unfortunately. All 4 dishes were tasteless. The chicken curry tasted like Bisto gravy granules. The place didn't look clean either. Can't recommend at this time but might give then a couple of months to settle in.

Not impressed at all!! Star Easy really gone down hill the past couple of weeks! Food and customer service!! Shame because we where regular customers that won't be returning again ?

New owners. Lots to work on, very polite but not enough staff. Very long wait times and the food isn't as nice as prev owners ?

Always used this takeaway and had been great. New management order Chinese chicken curry and chicken In spicy sauce. Both very watery and totally tasteless Dirty containers all over the kitchen. Sorry but but will not be using again

We have used this takeaway for some time now and never had any issues until recently. A few weeks ago we ordered using the delivery service and when we got the meal it was tasty but luke warm/tepid at best. We put this down to a 'one off' issue and thought nothing more of it. We ordered again last night (10/2/23) again using the delivery service and was told it would be 45 minutes. 45 minutes came and went and so did another 25. I called the takeaway and was told that it had been 'one of those nights' and that our order would be done next. Having put the phone down after excepting their reason for the delay, I then decided to call again, cancel the order and ask for a refund. I wasn't going to write a review or even complain for the sake of complaining, but having read some of the reviews I think the more feed back this service can give potential customers (and owners/staff if they read this), the better. I thought something had happened recently to see the decline in service we had seen but the timescale on these reviews suggests otherwise. I guess we have been lucky up until now but we will not use this takeaway any time soon.
Ordered a takeaway from Justeat, food was early, but was piping hot and very enjoyable. Ordered salt and pepper chips and although they not what I expected, they were cooked well and were delicious. Ordered 2 Thai style dishes with egg fried rice, all very tasty

Carnival night in Trowbridge, so ordered takeaway from my side of town, what a mistake that was. Order was due between 1930-1950 at 1947 driver calls to say he is stuck other side of town, left takeaway 20mins ago, so would be another 10 mins, told him to take it back and get meal replacement as it would be cold, called takeaway to complain and say I wanted replacement was told they were short of drivers, not my problem, then told they deliver by postcode, so asked why not deliver nearest postcode 1st when knowing roads would be closed. In end they relented and said it would be 20mins, 40mins and still waiting. Avoid this place. Do not use.

We ordered food last Friday and was left extremely disappointed, one of us was missing our chicken balls from our meal, we called and explained, and after a long pause of silence they said they would send the driver back with the missing chicken balls, we also requested a fresh portion of chips to go with our meal and they said the best they could offer was some prawn crackers, and they suggested we eat the chips in the meantime and then eat the chicken balls when they arrived (which arrived 45 mins after we called) I ended up paying for a portion of chips so we could have our meal together.. Really disappointed as my wife orders regular from Star East and the food is really spot on.. I understand errors happen, I just think that they could of thrown in some fresh chips so we could had our meal, instead I had to pay!
