“Went to find some food pulled off main road. And found this place. food was great but felt uncomfortable almost like I was being looked down at. As was full of very posh n well spoken people if you know what I mean. Food n service was great tho
Unsure I would recommend due to felling uncomfortable but your experience may be different”

“Found this place after constantly finding no spaces in the services beforehand. This is proper old school layby services. Plenty of space, set back from the main road and decent toilets. A cut above the usual for these sort of places with good food and drink”

“Another good place in Warminster.
Came here one Saturday morning and was very impressed. If you don't think there is enough space then do take a look in the garden as there are a good few tables out there. The coffee was good and the atmosphere very balanced between calm and chatty. Whilst we didn't eat because we already had a lunch booking, the food did look good. A nice community feel.”

“Absolutely outstanding coffee, I've tried so many coffees and different blends and from different places but this beat it out of the water a million times over, very kind staff, and the environment in the cafe is very comfortable and nice, I had an amazing panini on the side as well and I was shocked by how good it was! Definitely try this place out”

“Went to Café Journal today for lunch and it was fantastic. Trevor is a super chef and Susie is a great host. There are plenty of vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free and lactose-free options too.
We had a lovely time and the food was brilliant. I had scrambled eggs and bacon on toast with a pint of Butcombe and my wife had the halloumi salad with hot chocolate. Both were excellent and great value.
This isn't 'Spoons or Macky D's so don't expect everything chucked on the table in 5 mins, what you get is lovely food cooked to order just for you in a laid back, pretty and cosy environment.
10/10. We will be back!”

“Lovely venue and good food. Parking is nearby, which helps. It was a busy night, and the staff were very good, but we did have to ask for things one would expect to be on the table already. Recommended for a good night out though.”
