Only stopped for a coffee ☕ after our walk and sat outside.

First time at the Crown, staff very accommodating with my wheelchair. Simple snacks on the menu , I had sausage egg and chips which was really nice washed down with a couple of nice pints. When the bill came was surprised to find 25% off the food bill due to a special offer. Would definitely

A bit odd. Dropped in for lunch. The menu we were offered bore no resemblance whatsoever to the menus on the website - why? There was just enough on the menu to stop us walking out. I ordered a steak sandwich and was asked how I would like my steak cooked - medium rare, please. It was well done and tough. Why ask if you're not going to listen? In spite of this, it was a nice enough experience. The beer was great, the atmosphere was cosy, the staff were friendly - even though they were overworked. Service was a bit slow, but we weren't in a hurry.

Visited the Crown Inn for lunch on Wednesday 22nd for lunch with five former work colleagues and as always, excellent food with a good choice of ales. Friendly and efficient staff in a beautiful pub in a stunning location, what more could you ask for. John Foster

We were booked for Sunday lunch but a change in procedure from online to paper bookings only meant we had no table and the prospect of a long wait. Gave up after an hour. A management problem but no manager available. A lovely pub going downhill fast. Many other customers complaining of the waiting time for service. Shame but won't be going again.

Food was disappointing value for money. Quality of the food was not good , roast beef was dry even though already coated in a bland gravy. Aunt B's spuds deep fried. Desserts Weren't much better. Wouldn't go again for food but it's a lovely pub and service was good.

Always had a good experience here, food and drink good, disabled accessibility good for the lounge although some rooms are smaller with narrow doors. Always a good atmosphere and worth a visit.

Really nice pub tucked away by the canal (if you're into your fishing, cracking little spot) had our Sunday dinner there recently and couldn't fault it! Massive area outside for the kids to run around too! 10/10

I was part of a walking group for lunch at the Crown Inn last week. We received pleasant and efficient service there and we all enjoyed our excellent meals. Thanks to all the bar and kitchen staff at the Crown Inn!

Great little find on a walk a few weeks back, then went back for a delicious Sunday dinner last weekend. Newly refurbished and a great spot. Go check it out

What a find. On our cycle ride, we went past and had to drop in.The service was super friendly and welcomingThis great countryside pub located in between fields and the canal is ideal for pet lovers on their walks and familes alike. The girlfriend had a mushroom meal on some sort of pitta bread and done the job.I had Halloumi on tomato. Nice, but 7 quid was a bit of expensive.Good selction of ipa and ciders

Very friendly, attentive staff. Food arrived quickly and was very good indeed.Lovely atmosphere. Clean and well decorated throughout.Very popular for boaters as the pub is alongside the canal where you will find plenty of moorings.

Tried the menu again today after being put off before, ordered the dirty burger, beef patty tasted cheap like the sort you get from a car boot, paying £15 i’d expect a good quality burger. Disappointed, will be sticking to beer again for the foreseeable, shame.
