Small and cosy pub with big welcome. Friendly staff are happy to advise of the drinks on offer, and there are interesting local characters too. Meals are home cooked fresh, locally sourced snacks are also available.

Great place to eat and drink. The bonus is that it has an area that's dry and warm that you can sit with your dogs.

Perfect pint every time. Great selection of ales, kept to hight standards, branch pub of the year 2023 is well deserved.

The Weighbridge is situated in Alvechurch Marina and a short walk away from the railway station. I popped in here prior to watching the Alvechurch v Needham Market football match and enjoyed my visit immensely. There was a great choice of cask ale plus the pork pies were to die for ! Service was good despite only one person serving and the prices were reasonable too.

A great pub with friendly staff, along with a great atmosphere, leads to a very pleasant atmosphere. Most important they serve a great selection of beer.

After supporting the Weighbridge for many years, including beer festivals. To cancell 30 dinners reservations over night, after people had travelled by boat to attend, others had taken annual leave from work, others travelled from London, just cancelled with in 24hrs appalling service. Never cross your threshold again.

Visited with family for Sunday lunch. Excellent home cooked roast, lots of fresh vegetables (the grandchildren love their veg!). Impeccable service, could not recommend enough if you want a homely traditional meal.

Great pub serving an excellent variety of real ale and cider, plus a few traditional cobs and pork pies. Opening hours are restricted early-week, so check before travelling. It's conveniently close to Alvechurch station, which is in the line connecting to Bournville (for stirchley high st) and Birmingham New Street.Parking: Park at the marina for free. Pub is on the same site

One of the very best pubs I’ve ever been to. Staff are fantastic and always new beers to try.
