Ok bizarre decor. Would be a nice place in summer at side of river.

Arches is the friendliest venue pub/bar around, with a lively vibe that's hard to beat. Right by the river, it's got a cracking view inside and out and a buzzing atmosphere. The music is top-notch, with live DJs and artists every week, and the party keeps going until 1 am every weekend.Plus, they've got a wide range of drinks to choose from, all very good value! If you fancy catching a game, they've got big screens showing sports, adding to the laid-back yet exciting atmosphere. It's the perfect place for a good time, blending great tunes, a fantastic setting, refreshing drinks, and sports action for a night out you won't forget.

The bouncer at arches this friday the one that’s been there a long time, not sure how he hasn’t been fired but the abuse that comes out his mouth is absurd asking people for fights off camera and racist slurs out his mouth don’t recommend this place heard a lot of bad things about him and the way he treats people he has been reported to the police for his behaviour.

So disappointed with the one particular barmaid this evening. Attitude. So unprofessional. No please thank you. Slammed my drink on the bar. Get rid. Normally nice staff. Is it under new management? As Alan would not stand for this service to his customers.

Most of the staff were great. The minorities let the place down. Im not a big drinker but to be around drunk people and watch the staff and bouncers intimidate and speak down to (with no manors and pure attitude) was not the correct way to deal with someone sat on a stool. “Get off the stool now, they’re put away for a reason” was in my opinion asking for escalation and a problem could of occurred. If they are unable to employ educated, polite staff in an establishment where alcohol is served where people are likely to become intoxicated.. there is the reason why trouble may occur. Maybe without the attitude and total disrespect there could be no need for bouncers? Employ polite staff (maybe not kids with attitude) and then they may save some money in hiring bouncers on a power trip? Not a good invite for future visits. Wouldn’t recommend and not looking to return. Some staff were great and very polite. Shame those that weren’t are the reason why this place will be memorable. Worst bar I have visited for a very long time.Save your money here and support other local businesses in Bewdley.

I went out with a group of friends and one had a walking aid after an accident. Appallingly, my friend was declined access and all friends were allowed to enter the premises. We explained what had happened and the option proposed was to drink outside with the friend who was unable to. The Equality Act 2010 encourages places of business to adapt settings for visitors, and in this case crutches, something that is easily changeable. Please appreciate this feedback as someone who may need further assistance may need help

Did not go inside the Arches bar, we sat outside by the river Severn. My husband tells me the beer was good and so was the service. We did not eat here, so can't really say what the food is like. Plenty of parking in Bewdley, but none by the pub.
