I’d heard fab things from friends and acquaintances and seen lovely images on social media. Originally, we’d booked to go to a place nearer home on 24th December, sadly, it closed down which gave us the perfect opportunity to try The Bellmans Cross! We were early diners, which was perfect before it got too busy in the restaurant! We loved everything! Our waiter, in his Greggs Christmas jumper, had a great personality and made it for us! We will be back! Thank you all for a lovely evening!

We booked for Sunday lunch for 3 adults. Plenty of parking and easy access. We were well received and shown to our table. Beautifully set out and drinks order was taken quite swiftly. A good pint of Bathams bitter plus soft drinks for my friends. A varied choice on the menu but surprisingly for a Sunday lunch, no roast pork. Pan fried cod,roast turkey and beetroot Wellington were our choices. Food arrived after an acceptable wait and it was excellent. Waiting staff were attentive but not too much so. Cheesecake and chocolate torte were our dessert choices and again,they were top notch. It was quite busy with most tables occupied and it was a pleasant atmosphere. We will be returning for more of this excellent dining.

We have never had a bad meal at the bellman’s. The food is excellent and we are extremely lucky toHave such good food so close to home. We also use their takeaway service on themed nights which is just as good.

They have so much variety including lots of fresh fish and seafood from Cornwall which is one of my favourites. We have been a few times now and the deconstructed fish pie is one of my favourites. We can’t wait to visit again

We came here for our wedding anniversary and were not disappointed. The restaurant is quaint, the staff very attentive and the food is amazing. We both had three courses and thoroughly enjoyed every course. The presentation is fantastic, the food is freshly prepared. This really is fine dining and there's nowhere like it for miles!! Prices are reasonable for the quality of food. We most certainly will be returning. We highly recommend this restaurant.
