I picked up some fish n chips tonight for myself and my family and it was really good. This place is my second go to if Posh Plaice is closed which it was tonight as it was a Sunday. The whole shop has been revamped recently and the interior and exterior look really posh and welcoming which was lovely. When we went in, this really nice man served us and told me I could have a donor kebab and tandoori chicken kebab even though they were running out of donor lamb kebab meat which was brilliant. The food was really delicious and the chips were good as well, they were proper chippy chips without being too greasy. I would definitely come back in the future!

Walked into the shop to order and the staff were rude and seemed to be annoyed we had even came in. We then ordered our food which included cheesy chips and when we received them they were a small portion with burger cheese on top which didn’t even stick to the cheese it was stuck to the top of the lid of the box. Service and food was disgusting and I will never be back here again!

Come down last night for some food and they was all rushing around asking each other if they done this and done that then come today for a large chips and 2 scolops with garlic mayo the young woman with th black hair on put garlic mayo on the corner of each thing food is really nice but they all rush way too much just calm down a

Very disappointing, haven’t been there for 3-4 month and it’s changed apparently - not as good as before. The fish was not good, not sure if it wasn’t fresh or was over cooked - it was hard and an unappetising grey colour. Shame.

First time getting a takeaway since the refurbishment. They didn't have jumbo sausages, so waited for some small ones to be cooked. That was fine, but when we got home and I saw all the bits of batter scraps in our chips, l was not impressed. And I don't think we will be going back.

So blessed to have this wonderful chip shop on our doorstep. Tried a quarter pound cheeseburger tonight. Gorgeous, fresh salad, a bun that didn't fall apart in your hands and good quality burgers. Chips as lovely as ever.

Lovely chip shop. Fresh Cod and Chips with Curry sauce. Staff are excellent. They let me eat inside on the table. Will definitely be coming for more.

A really great chippy! It's taken us a while since moving into the area to find a decent chippy! Broadway only has Russell's Fish and Chips (which is not a chippy by any means of the word!) Morten-in-Marsh and Honeybourne have some decent options but a friend recommended Island Fish Bar and we've been coming ever since. Absolutely huge portions of chips, always been really good so far. The staff are super kid friendly, it's clean, there's lots of options; Pukka Pies, sausage, cod, haddock, roe everything you'd expect at a good chippy (and more). No complaints so-far! Definitely recommend!

I went to island chippy today for the gorgeous haddock and chips they do or shall I say did, I found out that the old guy has retired and there are new people in there, asked for the large haddock and 2 small chips, waited for it to be cooked, took it away to eat it, the fish was half the size it used to be, and it wasn't cooked and the chips were not nice, I will never go back.
