Fabulous family run restaurant with authentic food and wonderful service. We felt like royalty. Thank you!

The food was authentic and delicious. Service was excellent and nothing appeared too much trouble. I asked for a tomato and red onion salad, which was not on the menu, I was told it wouldn’t be a problem. When it was served it was delicious and dressed in a balsamic dressing! Delicious accompaniment to our food.

very rare i give 5 stars in this country unless its in a stupidly priced restaurant. reasonably priced at Pepe's for excellent food. lovely relaxing mood. i would only take older children here really. its quite an intimate space so little ones could easily destroy the experience for everyone else. Staff are nice and leave you alone unless you need them. Also nice to see chef working in the kitchen. We went for late lunch at 2pm. by 3pm other diners had left. Then chef and his staff sat down and had lunch together nearby which we loved. very chilled.it was snowing outside but if you closed your eyes and took a munch on the bruschetta you could almost hear the Med.The prawns were excellent. Thanks guys. you weren't recommended to me. i just googled "best restaurants near me". and it was my wife's birthday so it was risky haha.perfect.

Draughty so I was cold. Great service when at table but not very attentive. Very expensive. £11.25 for large wine! Food presented beautifully but bland. Nice decor. Great to see open kitchen. Overall

A great choice for a family meal! We took my 9 month old and 5 year old who were both welcomed in. We had an early dinner at 5, excellent service. All food is made to order so could be tailored to the needs of a fussy eater easily. Will choose every time over a chain Italian in town! Excellent service and excellent value. ThanksKid-friendliness: High chairs are available.Staff are very welcoming to young families.

We chose this as the nearest Restaurant to the Theatre that served food early enough. We were so pleased with the choice. The welcome from the staff was extraordinary and their attention to us was beyond reproach. The meal was superb and arrived quickly and was very good value for money. What more can I say than. "We will return"

Visited Peppe's recently with friends. Overall a very nice culinary experience. Service was excellent, servers were polite and accomodating. The decor and ambience were lovely, comfortable and very clean. I was impressed by the overall look of this place. Mind you for more mature diners ... that there are several stairs to climb for the upstairs seating area. We were seated promptly and looked after for menus and drinks orders taken in good time. We ordered a couple of starters including the mixed fried seafood starter and mushrooms al dolcelatte. Delicious. The only negative I will mention is the portion size for a £9 mixed fried seafood (Frittura Mista) was getting only 4 small pieces of calamari and one prawn. In Italy for £9 at a good seafood restaurant I would get a mounded plate full of fried calamari. Maybe rethink that portion size as I wasn't happy with the small portion for the price. It was very tasty though. We then got our mains which included two risotto dishes. They were tasty too but very very slightly undercooked risotto. I am Italian so I could tell! Still, we decided to eat up and savour the flavours. Taste won us over. Afterwords we had desserts: Panacotta, Tiramisu and Chocolate Pistacchio Tart. All delicious apart from the tart was extremely sweet. I would'nt even call it rich but just over-sweetened. They were more than happy to replace it with another option. An overall lovely meal and excellent service. I would still return for another dining experience. Thank you Peppe's.
