We have had a roast dinner at the Talbot twice now and both times have been excellent. My partner had the roast beef which was perfectly cooked and myself the cauliflower cheese tart which was also very tasty. The veg is well cooked and seasoned, would highly recommend to anybody looking for somewhere to go for a great Sunday lunch

The food was hot and fresh, the chips were especially delicious and crispy, our server Josh was also very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. The manager came and asked if all was good. Maybe need a bit more training for bar staff but overall great atmosphere, friendly service and good food.

I came down on a fishing trip with my son on the River Severn. The Talbot was recommended to us for dinner and it didn't disappointing. Wonderful food and exceptional friendly service. Highly recommended.

Booked for a Sunday lunch with my sister. Martin rang ahead to make sure he would have meat we might want. Very friendly & professional staff. Nice & homely inside. Lots of space. Staff very attentive. I had roast beef & it was so nicely cooked. Would definitely come back as just down the road from

Live locally and we heard The Talbot was now serving food. We were so delightfully surprised. Great service by both bar staff and the fab young gent serving food. Food was flipping fab (well done kitchen staff) It is not trying too hard, it's doing good food for great money and the dog was welcomed with a bowl of water too. Simple tasty, pub classics at reasonable prices all served with a smile. Nice atmosphere, great to see the dining area steadily fill up as we were there. This is just what we want from our local village pub and will absolutely be returning. I've heard the Sunday roasts are a hit but book as word spreads fast. Don't change anything The Talbot and you'll always be well supported.
