So quiet in the restaurant even on a Saturday evening. Streak frites tasted of fish as if it had been cooked in the fish pan, smelt and tasted of fish and not meat. Even after mentioning this there was no gesture of goodwill to reimburse us or offer a complimentary drink or pudding.

Popped in for the Coffee and Cake offer. Told that as we ordered the scone and a pastry there may be a short delay as they are cooked fresh. Sounds very good. Disappointed when they arrived a few minutes later. The pastry was cold - not fresh baked. The scone was warm and chewy - microwaved. Most disappointing.

Warm welcome and quiet lunchtime, for a tasty £10 lunch of very good food. Coq au vin and Pork medallions. No room for dessert! We would definitely return.

Amazed at the team's responsiveness. They have a new digital loyalty app and after our last visit 10 days ago we said this was impossible for my 89 year old Mum. Within 2 hours the lovely Madi had been in touch to say they could arrange a paper card for Mum on her next visit. We arrived today and asked about the card and Madi remembered my name and the card was ready. What service!! So rare these days. Thanks to Vic too who greeted us and served us with such a warm smile and so friendly.

Visited recently for lunch for my wife’s birthday. We had a good experience although, like most places these days, there was minimal staff and although they were trying their best service was a little slow as a result. Would have loved to try a desert but didn’t want the wait in the end.

I love the decoration of this place. Brought my gran and son here for lunch. Had steak and chips and they were tasty. Nice service. Very quiet for a sat afternoon which was nice too. Prices are a bit steep - but they are everywhere at the moment so can't blame that on the business.
