Really good pub grub. Do meal deals on a Tuesday. Had a really nice cheeseburger, fries and sauce for lunch. Great service with a smile. Will definitely return.

The Land Oak, has been a favourite of mine for years. We popped in to take advantage of the Meal Deal at the moment. We were not disappointed. Excellent service from Paul at the Bar.Parking: Large carpark even some disabled spaces. Good for wheelchair access.

I popped in for a bite to eat whilst my little one was napping and I am so pleased I chose here! The staff were awesome - the female member of staff saw me entering with the pram and instantly came to help me with the door. She also offered to bring my drink over, so I didn't have to struggle. I ordered a jacket potato and it came quickly, and was very tasty. I liked the fact that the salad came with some cous cous (though, the salad leaves could have been a little fresher). When I left, the male member of staff had obviously seen me collecting my stuff together, and was already waiting to help me with the door.As a first time mom, going somewhere different with the pram can be quite daunting, but the friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere made this an easy and enjoyable lunch. I'll definitely be back.

It was a really good day. My stepson wanted chicken wings with his roast dinner instead of turkey and the staff and chef accommodated this with no issues and my stepson really enjoyed his dinner. We all enjoyed ourselves and my mom had a great mother's day as she came down from Scotland to see us. We will definitely be visiting
The Lunch Deal Hunters chicken was miniscule to say the least, the smallest portion i have had in this area.The chips were unappetising. Dessert cost of £7 because not ordered with main was disgraceful, with no mention of it on the Lunch Deal unless it was hidden in the very smal print. I will not return to the Land Oak.

Excellent evening at the Land Oak. We always return here as you know you will get quality food at a decent price, but above all the service is fantastic. Lovely friendly staff who really put themselves out to make sure you have an enjoyable evening. Served last night by Leah who was also lovely, couldn't do enough for us, stopped for a chat but wasn't invasive, excellent member of the team. See you all soon for our next catch up.
