I always leave a very positive review but last night's meal was certainly not up to the usual standard. Had fish and chips which is usually crispy and tasty, last night's fish was greasy and not very crispy. Food came quickly (maybe needed a bit longer for better care in the cooking) but as always the food was hot which is great.

Been here a few times lately, the staff are always welcoming and friendly. The food service is lovely, eaten here a few times and never had a bad bite! Tried quite a few things off the menu and haven't been disappointed, nothing ever seems to be too much for the staff as they are always helpful which is why we keep coming

I visited with family on Sunday for lunch. It would have been the first time we have had food since the owners have changed.We all had a carvery (mine being a veggie) It was great value for money and everybody really enjoyed their food! The roast potatoes were amazing and the veg was perfectly cooked.The staff were lovely as always (Rachel and another lady I haven't seen before) and the manager was also very welcoming and had great customer service.Would definitely recommend!! ?

New manager spends more time smoking outside he is unsociable. If it was not for the staff then most people would stay away all the people who use to use the pub don't come now. Did have the best guinness now undrinkable it's gone from my local pub to not going at all.

Passed through last weekend, stopped for Sunday lunch. Highly recommend the roast, I had the beef and i was not disappointed. The pub had a nice friendly atmosphere which is always nice not been a local.The landlord was engaging and we shared a bit of football banter.If I was passing through again I would happily visit again

We decided to go for a bite to eat here and let me tell you both the food and service were absolutely top-notch! Started off with Mac and Cheese and that was like a warm hug on a plate, then indulged in a spicy burger that legit blew my mind. The balance of flavours were on point, and this pub turned a regular meal into a feast to remember. Major props!
