There was no one behind us and yet we were pressured to complete our order quickly instead of being given time to choose. So we ordered minimally and left. Rather hostile front of house on Sunday 9th.

After walking around Malvern all morning we decided to have a pot of tea and ham and cheese toasties at Costa Coffee. The staff were very nice. I got a table whilst my wife bought the teas over. The place was busy. I looked at the table and noticed it was dirty, but nowhere else to sit. My wife bought the tea over, only to find the cups were filthy. She took them back. A young chap came over and bought two clean cups and said it was only tea stains on the other cups that wouldn't come off. I said, I wet my finger and rubbed the marks and the brown stains came off. We picked the knife and tea spoons up and they were filthy too. We stopped the young lady and she took the knife away, when she came back she said she had cleaned it. It was still smeared, we decided not to use. Used the handle to stir the tea and hoped the heat would kill off anything. I thought Cafe Nero was bad but this place has stooped to that level. Next time we will go to the Blue Bird Tea Rooms.

Standard Costa coffee. Probably the third or fourth best coffee shop on Great Malvern's high street. Abbey Road, Faun, then Costa/Nero

I worked under the manager for the Malvern Costa, I had so many issues arise, nobody helped me, i was expected to travel to Malvern as an 18 year old Lady with random people as i couldnt afford to get to Malvern even though i applied for the Blackpole Costa, i was under so much stress i had to quit and would highly not recommend working for costa, the pay is nice however the treatment is not worth it at all.
