We came here recently for a meal to celebrate my mother's 80th birthday. The hotel is beautiful and the service was absolutely fantastic from start to finish, with attention paid to the smallest detail and so friendly. The food was amazing, beautifully presented and is probably the best meal I have ever had.I've run out of superlatives but my mum had a brilliant time and I couldn't recommend The Cotford highly enough. We will be back.

The L'amuse Bouche is out of this world. We came for a family birthday celebration, and nothing was too much trouble; from the booking to the exquisite food, it was first class.Barbara and Chris were wonderful, Barabara singing happy birthday when she brought out the birthday cake, just capped the evening for our mother.Thank you, Chris and Barbara, we might have traveled down from Scotland, but we will definitely be returning.

Traditional guesthouse hotel in the good ways (lots of character, small, lovely garden, quiet) and not the bad ways (no avacado bathroom suites). Excellent Breakfast - eggs always perfectly cooked. But if you're a person that enjoys staying in a Travellodge then it's probably not for you.

Historic hotel with a fantastic restaurant. Would recommend. Lovely gardens. No elevator, but that was okay for us. There are rooms on the ground floor. No a/c, but okay for us. The hosts were 10/10 along with their kind/patient staff. Parking a bit tricky.

It's an imposing Victorian building a short walk from the town centre and although it looks a little formal, don't be put off as the welcome, service and food at L'Amuses Bouche are all excellent. We enjoyed a full three courses and although there isn't a huge choice, we tried a variety of the dishes and they were universally great. The staff were lovely, the atmosphere informal and we would certainly visit again. Highly recommended and a lovely place for a meal We didn't stay in the hotel so can't comment on that but am sure it must be up to scratch!

We booked Sunday lunch at the Cotford for a family reunion after our booking was cancelled by another establishment at the last minute due to unforeseen circumstances. Very impressed by how welcoming everyone was at the hotel, top class food, great service from the dining room staff and Barbara, the owner. Definitely would return.

L'amuse bouche is in my opinion the best place in Malvern for a celebration meal. Wonderful food, great service and a convenient location.

The staff were attentive, courteous and polite. We received a very warm welcome. The menu choices were fully explained and the food was excellent, presentation was faultless. We would not hesitate to recommend the Cotford Hotel to anyone. We had an amazing evening. Thank you Barbara and Chris, we wanted to go somewhere special and we did.

This establishment delivers five stars all round. Superb comfortable accommodation, excellent cuisine, friendly and helpful staff all managed by hosts Chris and Barbara. Only a short walk to the Malvern HIlls and local amenities it is set in delightful gardens which compliment the gothic architecture. A thoroughly wonderful experience and couldn't recommend it enough.

Amazing weekend at the Cotford Hotel in Malvern, where you arrive as an acquaintance and leave as a friend. Owners Barbara Anne Morgan and Chris Morgan understand the meaning of the word ‘hospitality’ better than most. Barbara with her warmth, creativity and highly-engaging, fun personality and Chris with his outstanding culinary skills, turning out plates which are rather like the Cotford’s leafy location - things of outstanding natural beauty. But that beauty is far from just skin-deep, incredible flavours and taste sensations literally punch their way onto the palate leaving you wanting more! Already Michelin-listed, it is surely only a matter of time until the sought-after star lands with a satisfying thud on the Cotford’s (rather elegant) doorstep? L’ Amuse Bouche is the Cotford’s aptly-named restaurant - remember that name as it will be amusing many a discerning bouche along it’s trajectory to stardom.

Perfect stay for family birthday party. Barbara has thought of everything. We will definitely be back.Rooms: We stayed in the coach house, which has a separate entrance and outside seating area. Room is beautifully furnished and well appointed. The bathroom was spotless!Nearby activities: A 5 min walk into the centre of Malvern.Food & drinks: Excellent quality food, Chris really sets the bar high! If I had to pick one *tiny* niggle, it would be the breakfast croissant is the bready frozen thing. However, the kippers more than made up for it!

Very relaxed and comfortable hotel. Owners/hosts were wonderful, very open and chatty, chef (an owner) was superb. Highly recommended . Excellent location for walking into town or up onto the hills, no taxis required! Stunning scenery. Really enjoyed our stay.Nearby activities: Great for local walks but be prepared for a lot of “ups” but worthwhile for stunning views. Walks well signposted.Walkability: Very central location to town and local walks, but it is hilly!!!Food & drinks: Dinner was excellent.

Handsome Victorian Gothic house, extremely well decorated and furnished. Food quite outstanding, couldn’t be faulted. Staff all very attentive and friendly. We were celebrating our anniversary and we will definitely return. The chef is a star!
