We go regularly to Vasai as a couple or with friends. As a strict vegetarian I have tried everything on the menu but keep going back for more. There are lots of great curry houses in Malvern, but the customer service brings us back almost weekly. Our special service from the attentive, friendly and sensitive waiter Saidur is second to none. He has a true gift for making a customer feel the most valued person to visit and we thank him for always giving us more attention than we probably deserve! The food is great, but having a personalised expert guide to the menu is fantastic! X

Christmas dinner , always loved and trusted Vasai for quality food but this was beyond disappointing! Took three hours to get as far as dessert which was tiny little jellied carrott . The curry my son and I had which was supposed to be two different vegetarian curries “ described as wedding curries “ were both the same uninspiring bland vegetable curry the meat one my partner and other son had were two different ones but both bland ! It was one and a half hours before we even got popadoms as “ pre starters “ . I didn’t recognise any of the usual staff has it changed hands? After going to Vasai for their varied excellent vegetarian ( as well as meat ) menu fir ten years I dont think I will be going there again plus we parted with 160 pounds for four people to have our special Christmas meal together as a family ruined !!!

Last night the Malvern Hash House Harriers had a run from Victoria Park. We had booked a table for 20 after our run at Vasai. Ali made us all feel very welcome. We sat at a nice long table and were really well looked after with most of us quenching our thirst with pints of Cobra. The food was excellent, starting with poppadums, then a choice of really tasty curries for both veggie and meat eaters with freshly cooked rice and nan bread. I had a message the next day from a runner saying it was the best food we have ever had after a Hash, which given we run every Tuesday all through the year was praise indeed! Appreciating that we were hungry and tired after our run Ali dispensed with any idea of charging us for drinks when they were ordered and trusted us to work out what we had had and for us each to pay at the end of the meal which really helped the drinks flow and make the evening the success it was. As Arnie once said "I will be back" ...and so will everyone else! Thanks again Vasai, on on!

My wife and I were visiting the area and went to this restaurant because of its vegetarian and gluten free options. We were not disappointed. Excellent food, friendly service. Highly recommended.

Over the last two months we have eaten at Vasai three times. Each time…attentive staff, all polite and service with a smile (Said remember us from previous visit); extensive menu (meat, fish, vegetarian and vegan) which the staff happily explain their foods and even recommend a meal based on your tastes if needed; very spacious restaurant which gives each table more than ample room to enjoy the meal ordered and company. The portions are plentiful In portion, flavourful served with warmed plates and just as important…great value for money. There is parking just to the right hand side of the restaurant. Thinking about having a meal out, an Indian…do not hesitate, this place will not disappoint.

This was our third visit in as many months. We find ourselves choosing Vasai because of the SUPERB FLAVOURFUL dishes. We try different dishes, even asked for recommendations which they happily suggest foods based on our tastes. Our family has a variety of foodie requirements: meat, vegetarian and vegan. The menu is so extensive, impressively varied. The portions are plentiful, the SHASLICK or the MIXED GRILL or TANDOORI DELUX are really for those who have hearty appetites. I can’t express what value for money this restaurant offers in a spacious, comfy environment. It was lovely to return and be remembered (Said), however every member of the attentive staff has a smile. We’ve eaten around 5.30pm in which we were able to walk in without booking, although from 7.30pm onwards, booking would be advised. Takeaway is available which is next to the bar area offering the opportunity to have access refreshments while waiting for your order. The convenient parking is to the right of the restaurant behind a furniture shop. A great restaurant for a couple, family or group. Enjoy, you won’t be disappointed:)

I have been going to Vasai for years now. It was my first dinner out when returning permanently to the UK. They are always consistent in their fantastic and friendly customer service and the quality of their food.We have never had a meal that wasn't delicious and the variety even for veggie and Vegan is extensive.Do yourself a favour and try Vasai - you won't regret it!
