Having been visiting friends in Kemspey we use the Huntsman, brilliant food and beers . It's a pub like a pub should be . Do not miss.

Best Sunday lunch around, no doubt! The atmosphere is brilliant, an really well run and relaxed place to be. The garden in the sunshine is idyllic. No misconceptions of being anything else but a village pub! I'm a big fan of the selection of beers/ ciders available and in regards to the food have never been disappointed with the quality or portion size. Pudding on this occasion was especially good! You can end up paying more for a lot less in pubs not far away. Staff are always friendly and attentive. Booking was simple and easy over the phone.

Staff were very friendly & welcoming with our 2 chaotic bulldogs! Food was really good! Home made burgers were very filling & the chips were yummy!

Stopped off for lunch on the way home from Bristol, we was not disappointed. Great welcome, everyone worked well together, food was great. Would definitely go back. Thank you for making us so welcome.

Excellent Sunday Lunch Ate with friends and had the roast lamb, one of the best roast dinners I’ve ever had. Ample meat, potatoes, Yorkshire pudd, a variety of vegetables and really tasty gravy. All piping hot and full of flavour, absolutely delish ? Only downside was we couldn’t have pudding because they had ran out!! Apart from that 5*, will definitely be back.

Took over the restaurant for an annual dinner for 14. Ash created a special 3 course menu with various great choices all of which excellent. Not fancy but great for country pub. Pub staff landlord and chef could not have been more welcoming. Food excellent, great night all round enjoyed by all . Thanks.

We went in for a lemonade and a lime and soda and the man wasn't very friendly. The lemonade was flat from a bottle and the soda was from a half full,(flat) bottle which he then threw on the floor and then opened a new one so it wasn't at all fizzy. He poured so much lime cordial into it that I had to stop him and both drinks were horrible and not worth the money £4.50! Sorry Huntsman. All we wanted was a cool drink on our dog walk.

As always, the traditional country pub with good food, good friends and great beer .

Went for a walk locally then dropped in here for lunch. Choice of three roasts on the menu and we both opted for beef - it really was excellent. Beef was pink and tender, veg was all freshly cooked and delicious. I had the apple and raspberry crumble for dessert which was also top drawer. Will definitely come again ?
