Popped in in the way home from hospital and got a takeaway, service was friendly and professional.Food very tasty, unfortunately too far to go for usual takeaway but would definitely pop in again if over that way.

I came here on a buffet day as part of a group. The choice of food wasn't huge but this meant the food was always fresh. I also liked you could have banana fritters with ice cream. Staff were friendly. I would definitely recommend!

Amazing food. We had the Christmas menu, which was lovely, but a little expensive.The staff were very helpful and asked if we wanted a break between courses, YES was the answer!Everything looked lovely and clean.Will we go again? Definitely.

Disappointed, to say the least. Took the grandchildren for a Sunday buffet and been many times before, hence I thought it would be a good birthday experience for my 14 year old granddaughter. In the past, the staff would sing happy birthday with a tune playing, plus a lovely complimentary cake. I don't expect anything for nothing, but this is what they do. My visit was paying £10 for a £3 cheesecake which I thought i was purchasing a cake and a terrible service, plates not taken away and staff who looked like they didn't want to be there. Needless to say, won't be going back. Terrible place.

We called to place an order for take away which we collected. It wasn't ready when we arrived but was shortly after. They are really good at going through the order to make sure everything ordered was included.. We ordered sesame prawn toast and spring rolls to start. These were absolutely lovely and came with a large tub of sweet & sour sauce. Our mains were a house special curry & duck in pineapple. The curry was absolutely lovely. Packed with chicken, prawns, char sui and beef. And the curry sauce itself was absolutely delicious. I had this with egg fried rice which was cooked beautifully. My other half had the duck in pineapple sauce. This is a go-to dish for him and he USUALLY really loves it, however this was really disappointed. If you're a regular duck eater at Chinese you'll know that you normally get a nice portion of duck breast sliced in the sauce of your choice. There was no more than five pieces of duck hiding in the pineapple sauce and the bits that were there were very very small. The only redeeming feature of the duck was that the pineapple sauce was really tasty but ended up being more like a dessert than a main course. This was with boiled rice which was very nice. In summary, apart from the duck which was my other half's worst duck meal he's ever had from a Chinese takeaway, the rest of it was very good. I would recommend this place, but clearly avoid the duck.

Been going here for years and not as good as it used to be. We went with our 2 grandchildren, and ordered a fair amount as we weren't sure what the children would eat and intended taking the rest home for chinese the following day. The food was pretty lukewarm, chips inedible, curry sauce bland - but what really made me angry was to find the food we took home (leftovers) had vegetarian and fish put into the same container (see photo). I'm vegetarian and specifically ordered the chilli, salt & pepper bean curd to take home. And the staff member who packed the food away put the beancurd and squid into the same container. Completely thoughtless. Absolutely furious especially as we had spent over £100. So we shalln't be going here again. Shame as we have been going here for at least 25 years.

Couldn’t fault this restaurant- excellent service and a great choice of authentic Chinese food. Well worth a visit and we will definitely be back. Great to have a decent Chinese nearby…!

booked for a 90th birthday the staff were so helpful and friendly couldnt do enough for us even brought out a little birthday sweet and present for my mother also food was excellent .we will be going back. thanks again to the staff

I have visited this restaurant many times over the past thirty years and have never had a bad experience. The food is always good and the service prompt, friendly and efficient. My last visit was on 30th August. I am vegetarian and like Singapore noodles. However, those noodles have meat in them. I always ask for them to be cooked without meat. This time I forgot to ask for the vegetarain version and found meat in the dish. I tried to pick the meat out but was not very successful. I had ordered too much food and at the end of the meal the server took away food to be boxed up but I said not to box up the noodles and explained the problem. When we came to pay she took the noodles off the bill. My lovely server had already offered to make me a new meat free version of the noodles but I had too much food and it wasn't necessary. She said that as we had ordered meat free dishes she should have told us that the noodles had meat in it. What a star! I reccamend this restaurant highly. The food is excellent.
