Bought large cod and chips and large cod by itself last night 23/03/2024. It was awful! Both the cod fillets were dry inside, luke warm and wrong texture, not in the least bit flakey. In fact, I don’t think it was cod at all. Avoid!

This is without the doubt the best Chippy in Redditch. The food is always top quality, fresh & served piping hot. I’ve also found that Andy’s portion sizes are much bigger than other chip shops too, which is great value for money for sure. All of the Staff are all really friendly & welcoming. I highly recommend the mixed meat kebab, absolutely delicious!

Popped into Andy's Fish Bar and saw they had fresh roe yes I thought just what I need, so asked to put one in for me, just a five minute wait, lovely. We'll when it was done I could not believe the size of it, I have never seen anything like it before it was massive. I had ordered chips as well but when got home I had to sacrifice most of the chips to actually accomplish eating all the roe. Definitely recommend as I don't believe you will get better anywhere else.
