visited this chinese on a recommendation as sam pan at winyates was shut, very disappointed firstly CASH ONY and we all know why that is!!! then beef chow mien the beef was chewy and had to spit most of it out with the actual chow mien being very bland and tasteless! the egg fried rice was appalling and tasted like a bag of uncle bens £1 microwave rice, then we also had chicken balls sweet and sour which were doughnuts with the jam taken out and chicken put in! we also had chips which were white they were that undercooked and hard in the middle! never again sorry

Extremely disappointed with this Chinese been coming here for years but gone down hill the last 6 months to a year I found when Claire (the owner) was running the Chinese the food and atmosphere was really good but the new counter staff are very rude stand there blank and demanding for your money and food has gone down hill haven’t come back since and now going to the other Chinese up the road.

Horrendous place! The most rude man on reception, growls at you when he got the order wrong. Has put the phone down on me twice because of his wrong doing! Will NEVER use this Chinese again. Shame because the lady owner is lovely!
Easy parking and good food. They don't take card payments which is a nuisance.

House Special chow mein was very disappointing. No prawns, tough dry beef, dry pork and few beansprouts.Prawn crackers very oily. Won't be using them again.

We placed our order for delivery and was told 45 mins over 1 hour 10 minutes still no food, so I rang up to chase the order and was told 10 minutes. We ate the food which had far to much salt in, the beef was chewy and the prawns were cold (second time we have ordered the prawns and they were cold) later on early morning me and my partner were both violently sick, we spent the whole day in bed and have been put off Chinese food for life! I rang back the next day and said to the manager that we wasn’t happy about the long delay in our order and that we were both sick after the order, he started to get defensive and argued with me saying do you have proof it was our food? People try this all the time with us and advised me to Get your solicitor involved. He was speaking over me and practically laughing at me whilst trying to be smart and talk down to me! I was so shocked after how I had been spoken to I was left almost speechless! How can someone run a business and be so rude? I have been using this Chinese for many years and it has certainly done down hill, I will not be using this Chinese again!
