Dropped in her one time on the way home l. Very lovely place and have friendly staff.. I personally would say the money value is quite good and they have a good range of drinks on their menu allowing you to work through them I would definitely recommend a visit

DO NOT STAY HERE. There are extremely dangerous dogs who are allowed to be out loose. Two big mastiff style dogs have attacked my husband and our small dog, they both have injuries which require medical treatment. I have heard from locals that this has happened before. It is a disgrace. Avoid at all costs.

We booked this place for a stop over for a family funeral but we never stayed after seeing the place, dirty toilets, room wasn't clean no kettle, not even an aerial for the TV, probably the worst place ive ever booked, looks like a drug dealers stop over place.dont book this place it should be shut down.

I am not the one to review negatively to companies or places I've visited unless it is really bad. Unfortunately this is the worst place we have ever stayed, visited and booked 2 rooms, we left after 2 hours of being here, we were aware that the hot water may have been an issue but we didnt even stay that long to try it out. There was dirt (brown substance) all over the walls in the bathroom, on the door, on the towels and on one of the beds too, lifted up the matress there was sick, brown substance and also blood this was also on the white sheets along with pubic hairs, in one of the rooms we also went to use the toilet and there was a poo in the toilet covered by toilet paper, with stains on the seat and every item you touched was sticky or covered in white residue (mildgue) and the cubords wrre not even cleaned.Like shally type buildings. The tv had no remote, we were promised a kettle but didn't have one and one of our other rooms had a kettle but there tv was broken and they had no wifi in their room where as we did. In one room the smoke alarm was covered in a plastic bag, the beds were filthy, the tv didnt work and the bathroom was disgusting. Where as in the other room it was 10x worse grime, dirt (brown substances) everywhere, public hairs, spiders, rubbish in the bin with just a bin bag over the top and the blind you could see straight through even when fully closed. We left after 2 hours minimum, to try and find somewhere else but it was completely booked up everywhere so had to resort to family miles away just to sleep as it was unhingenic and a risk to health to stay here. I do not recommend this at all. When we first cheked in there was a massive rottweiler right next to the reception area, the what we guess is the owner was on his way out to buy a sink because someone had destroyed one in the rooms. It was like a drug den there.

Read the other reviews, it’s all true unfortunately.. or fortunately if you like that kind of thing ? The outside reminded me of the crossroads motel, not the one from the British soap staring Noele Gorden, the one from Breaking bad where Wendy plied her trade. Once you are inside, having been let in by a nice lady from reception (because the key cards don’t work, or are missing or something.. they will let you in 24x7, just knock on room 10! Inside is ok, a bit cold, but it isn’t dead of winter so you won’t freeze to death. It all looks ok if you squint a bit, the bathroom is good if you prefer cold water to hot. Facilities, the TV worked, if you don’t mind your UHT milk sachets a few weeks out of date (if you would dare to use that kettle) you can make a drink. Other reviewers have mentioned dirt, smells, noise and weird goings on, so I don’t have to.

We only stayed for one night . We were told about the issue with hot water but was also told that this would resolved by the following morning. And guess what still no water in morning. My friends refused to stay in the first room that they were offered after checking bed and mattress. I dared not to check mine too closely as knew nowhere else available to stay. In morning my husband had to look for his shoe and the amount of rubbish under bed was incredible. Why the cleaning staff don't look under beds instead choosing to just vacuum what can be seen. I know that management said there in middle of refurbishment but probably need to stop trading until all the works completed . Definitely wouldn't stay again and I have stayed in many budget hotels in the past

Do not book this in loose term hotel booked 2 nights here whilst covering ambulance shifts in nearby Solihull Hotel seem to think having no hot water for showers is acceptable when asked by the booking broker lied saying they informed all guests there was no hot watercNd we accepted it and they wouldn't give refund on this basis so habe had to travel to motorway services for a shower before and after a 12 hour ambulance shift. Running out of gas and leaving guests without hot water then lying to prevent guests getting a refund is how this hotel operates AVOID IT LIKE THE PLAGUE

Seemed like a nice place from the photos online and descriptions but as we got there we noticed stains on the bed sheets, and when turned over there was a massive red stain hiding underneath which they was clearly trying to hide. Mattress was stiff and uncomfortable, walls had stains and dirt marks on, bathroom towels had hairs all over them, sink was cracked, shower glass was broken (other then that shower was okay to be fair). Couldn’t sleep all night because there was constant shouting from outside from around 1pm until 4pm and loads of banging through really thin walls all throughout the night and morning. Couldn’t leave a complaint to the staff as they weren’t to be seen in the morning before we checked out either. Probably won’t be coming back to this place, felt like a cheap motel that was definitely not worth the price for the night we had.

This is not a hotel. They have council homeless people staying who cause noise and disturbances all night and heckle female guests. When I arrived a couple arrived, checked in and checked straight back out. LOOK UNDER THE BEDS. This is the most unhygienic place I've ever had the displeasure of staying. Leaving the room after dark is not an option. I was asked ifni wanted to party by young men who refused to let me access my room. No staff and security after 8pm. The hotel never responded to my complaint till this day and I have called several times to say I will be called back. They will not refund under any circumstances so please do not waste your money. This place is run down and filthy and not safe for women or families. The pictures are very old. Mattress was ripped, carpets not vacuumed, dry dead skin on the carpet, hairs all over bathroom, dust everywhere, faulty electrics. Walls are paper thin and it was obvious the room door had been kicked in at some point. Please do not risk staying here. Bad hotel and worse management. They do not care for guest care or safety and I've never seen anything so filthy. If there were other hotels available I town I would have left but stated scared in my room while other guests partied outside smoking all night. Not safe.

Oh dear where to start…..? I was checked in quite a rude man in a dirty looking reception area, the bar and restaurant were closed with no explanation why. Even the pen holder looked dirty. Outside on the car park there is a 32ft long caravan surrounded by all sorts of junk. Next to that it looks like a mr whippy icecream truck has been dumped there. To the room and outside the window is an overflowing ashtray greeting you. On shutting the door there is quite a large gap at the bottom. The new flooring looks nice in both rooms however it wasn’t so clean. The skirting board was dirty and dusty. Coffee tea and sugar were provided however there was no milk. The spout on the kettle was dirty and leaked over the bench-whilst pouring hot water into the cup. Onto the bed and it’s been moved, only 1 lamp and one bedside table. The mattress on the bed was thin and provided little comfort. The tv was great and the bathroom was pretty good but the tiles are painted and the large ones can mirror was damaged around the edges. Locked out my room at about 1am it took me about I hour to raise the alarm. There was also a dog on site howling and barking all evening. I have to say the young lady who let me into my room was great and friendly so thank you, she’s an asset to the place. It saddens me to see it run down and into the gutter like this. With some serious investment this could all be sorted out. I think they should have some new furniture, better beds, with a feature wall that is papered. Some art on the walls would look great. And new bedside lamps would be great. It could be a lot better than it is that’s for sure and it could be a good place again.

OK so the outside area needs a tidy but you don't sleep in the car park. We had 2 double rooms and both were nicely decorated and clean. They are clearly doing the place up so it's a work in progress but our rooms were absolutely fine. This is budget accommodation so if you're expecting 5 star it's not for you. Check in was a little delayed as the owner had popped out but we were late arriving so I wouldn't expect someone to sit waiting. Rooms are large and have been updated. Great hot shower and towels nice and white. Only down side was one of the rooms had vertical blinds that didn't quite close so could see in. All in all you get a good night sleep and a hot shower. Exactly what we paid for. We were dreading it from other reviews so maybe they stayed in rooms that hadn't been updated yet. We would stay again so if you're in need of budget and don't worry about the state of carpark this place is for you.

Booking.com seem to remove the negative reviews from their site so not a true reflection of how awful the place is The worst place ever stayed. Reception was an experience, dirty, smelt and staff sleep in the bar area. Smelt of drugs Door to room not secure, blinds did not close, sick on the wall, one chair with only 3 legs!!, hairdryer without a plug. You wouldn’t use the kettle. Room dirty & shower awful. Toilet hadn’t been cleaned. Heard numerous arguments and someone tried getting into the room and in the end slept with the chair behind the door. Didn’t feel safe and left at 5am

The place is horrible, disgusting, smelly, unacceptable! Found a collection of dirty socks in one of the cupboards in the room, nearly passed out with the foul smell. The duvet had blood stains, the bed had food crumbs and the whole place was like a rubbish site, broken furniture around, dirty clothes in the corner, just horrendous. When we tried to check out, there was no one around. The reception was locked and there was no way to get hold of someone as the phone kept ringing. I don't know how this place is still running and the environmental health has not been intercepted yet. I wouldn't be surprised if someone got a disease out of it!!!

After reading the reviews was absolutely dreading it, but it really wasn't as bad. had rooms 122 and 123 upstairs facing the road . met by two lovely boys very polite , they explained they couldnt check us in but someone would be there in 5 mins, a nice young lady arrived within the 5 mins and checked us in no issues. Rooms. very clean, TBH have stayed in far dirtier premier inns .Bed was band new and super comfy . Rooms small but functional. blinds in our room need replacing as they have curled over the years so we hung towels over the window to black it out . big flat screen telly , kettle tea and coffee makings . Yes there is a dog, a rather lovely huge american bull dog i think , she is pregnant but no sign of the aggression people have mentioned on here ! very sweet girl. yes the surroundings are neglected and yes there is rubbish and bin bags and bedding etc hanging around but we where not sleeping outside we just wanted a bed to sleep in for a family event so where out most of the weekend and just slept and got ready in our rooms, I can honesty say i have paid far more to stay in far worse/dirtier places . if your just after a clean room for the night at a very reasonable price it fits the bill . the shower had great power plenty of hot water . think the websites need updating as there is no hair dryer or 24 hour concierge service as advertised . ITs clearly being slowly done up as we had new carpet and flooring in our room, as i said just needs the blinds replacing.
