I travel from Leamington to meet my friend who lives on the other side of Redditch. Best carvery I have ever had (and I have had a lot!) Food is always hot and plentiful. Staff are always friendly and efficient. I recommend you book as it gets really busy even in the week.

The food is excellent, however sometimes it can be a bit dry due to the halogen lights. This is not due to the staff however, and the staff work really hard! Would recommend to anyone!

Food was delicious off the carvery. Good selection of vegetables, all well cooked plus the chef was generous with the meat. My only gripe was the waitress kept approaching the table to clear before I'd finished, I'm a slow eater and didn't want to leave anything. After she had cleared the table while we were chatting before ordering dessert we were told that we'd got five minutes before they needed the table. We had been there 1.5 hours but were not told there was a time limit when ordering or booking and so we couldn't have dessert, more drinks or coffee and had to leave. I appreciate they were busy and I've since been back as the food is so good but I think it is a good idea to let people know there is a time limit on the table at busy times.

Great value for money. But the guy who carves the meat on the carvery needs to up his social skills. He made me feel, I couldn't ask him for any assistance. Infact I felt he didn't want to be working there. Shame really because all the other female staff are so friendly and obliging.

We booked a a party of 6 adults, as a family for Sunday dinner. We were the first to arrive, approached the end of the bar, we were sort of awknowledged, by a man who we assume was acting as Head of House, so we told him we were part of a 6 person booking and the name it was booked under, he turned to the computer screen, started looking and did not turn back around or say anything. Disgusted by his rudeness, we turned to go back outside to await the arrival of the rest of our party. We returned to the same man and we were told that people were just finishing eating and they would prepare a table for us. The first table they prepared was a table for 4 with 2 extra chairs pushed to it. A member or party explained that it is 4 adults and that table would be unsuitable. They said they would sort another table. We bought our drinks and meals and waited for the table. The Roasts were their usual lovely food, and the lady waiting and clearing the tables was lovely, polite and friendly. Shane head of house had to spoil it

Came here as a last minute booking. We were visiting family in the Midlands. The best carvery I have ever had, I've had quite a few. The variety of vegetables was a huge tick, the meat was cooked beautifully, the roast potatoes didn't look great but wow they tasted amazing. The chef happily supplied us with crackling.Oh gosh, I'm still thinking about this carvery, we visited 2 days ago. Will definitely revisit when next in the area

Our family was made to feel uncomfortable from start to finish by one member of staff. He was rude to us and constantly glared and whispered to other members of staff making no effort to hide his remarks. We had sat at a reserved table by mistake. The employee should have asked us to wait instead he allowed us to order and made us feel uncomfortable throughout the whole meal. Would never put my family through this hostile environment ever again.

Was going to Beefeater by Sainsbury, but couldn't get a table, maybe Harvester, thought about the Barley Mow in Studley, ended up going here, as we've had a Carvery in the past, which is top notch by the way. Well glad we did, cos the breakfast was lovely, all quality items, cooked nicely and well presented. The service was excellent and friendly, the manager gave us a extra round of teas also. Definitely our go to place for breakfast!

My friend and I both had carvery. She had beef and turkey, which she said was nice. I had beef and pork, and was good. Yorkie and stuffing were a bit overcooked. Desserts of sticky toffee pudding and raspberry/choc cheesecake went down a treat. Overall a good lunch, and quite reasonably priced.

Just come back from yet again a carvery found this place when we came up from Weymouth so had to have one again before we went home Good slices of all meats large Yorkshire puddings super hot vegetables gravy nice and thick cannot see why people have to pile high there plates then leave some when you can go up as many times as you like for more veg and roasted potatoes will return when up in November staff very friendly and smiling and have time for you thanks?

Been here several times for the carvery and each time the portion of meat gets less and less. This time we had 2 thin slices which was over cooked and tasteless. There was still a very good selection of vegetables but cost cutting the meat goes against what a carvery is all about. We ordered the 2 course as it looked good value for money however the chocolate pudding dessert was awful . Stop trying to entice with the prices and go for quality in food . Our most disappointing visit and not sure whether to return.

Visited Friday lunchtime with family - 5 of us in total. We all had the carvery and there was a lot of choice with 4 meats and I lost count of the vegetables. We said I was gluten free when the first person was served so when it got to me GF Yorkshire pudding and stuffing had been prepared and GF gravy was in a separate dish by the vegetables. Best carvery I have had for a long time and would recommend . Staff were friendly. We had two courses and I could only choose ice cream as other choices were crumble/pies but to be honest I don’t think I could have eaten much more.
