Wonderful atmosphere an a lovely warm welcome from the manager and staff. The Lygon is a cosy old building with plenty of activity. Roomy tables and comfortable chairs. We went on Bangers and mash night and thoroughly enjoyed the selection on offer and there was good option for the one non-meat eater with us. Hadn’t planned on going here as let down by a near by pub. They were so accommodating on a busy Dec evening and found us a table for 7 within 30 mins of our arrival . Food and service was exceptional, they couldn’t do more for us , even entertaining our nephew so the rest of us could catch up . Ready to book more future celebrations. You must go here if in the area .

The food was totally amazing, the roast dinner was probably the best we have ever had out. Crispy roast potatoes, huge Yorkshire puddings, melt in the mouth meat. Fantastic service and ambience. Will be going back, soon!!!
