“Went to a local chinese that I haven't tried (until now I've assumed I wouldn't be able to eat at any), and the gentleman, Sonny, who runs said Chinese just demonstrated a level of customer service I've never seen before:
So, I explained to him that I'm Coeliac, and although he doesn't use any gluten free soy sauce, he showed me how his sweet and sour sauce is naturally fully gluten free and even how the crispy chicken he makes uses tapioca flour instead of wheat flour. Then when I said I like spicy food, he went and cooked me two mini taster portions so I could pick which one was better, in order to make sure that I liked the food before he let me order ? in the end, I got a delicious custom spicy sweet and sour crispy chicken.
You won't find a better customer experience than this!

Important info for fellow Coeliacs - I've had zero issues, even now 24 hrs after eating their food. Rest assured that their sweet and sour chicken is definitively gluten free, just make sure you let their chef know when you order!”
