We stopped here as we were avoiding the motorways. Friendly and efficient service, decent food and good choice - Mac n cheese was really nice. We will definitely stop here again.

Well where do I start, popped into this amazing pub on the way home after a motorway journey and we where all hungry,The food was brilliant and served quickly within 45 minutes of ordering, the staff where polite, the pub was clean, and a welcoming atmosphere, im a fussy eater and Aaron took on board my requests and I sometimes get embarrassed about asking for certain items to be left off my plate.Good value for money for our party of 2 adults and 3 kids, we even stayed a couple of hours longer than we intended but we were over the moon with the service..Highly recommend and our new place to visit after our football treks.Well done all the staff special mention Aaron who really went that extra bit to make our visit brilliant.

There is a lovely atmosphere when you enter the pub. I liked the family area it wasn't too crowded or noisy and there is plenty of room round the tables for highchairs. The staff were welcoming and very helpful.I found ordering food from the table via the app really difficult. Not all the options from the menu were available on the app. For instance you could order sausage beans and fries from the children's menu but not sausage and mash which was available on the adult menu. I eventually ordered at the bar where I was able to order easily.The food was lovely and the children's portions were a good size.

Had a lovely meal for mother's day even though they had run out of Sunday lunches. Plenty of other meals to suit everyone on their everyday menu. Bonus also as you could use a blue light card for discount. Would return if that part of the
Booked for mother's day 3 course menu £21.50 arrived was told that they were not doing that menu . This is false advertising ,asked to speak to manager was told they were cooking in the kitchen . They did offer to discount sunday menu but Extremely disappointed huge queue at bar . Then to top it all was advised no roast available. Not happy will not be frequenting this establishment again walked out . How can you advertise a menu with no intention of putting that menu on .

Recently moved to the area. We have tried a number of pubs. We generally prefer smaller more intimate pubs. The food here was excellent. I would have preferred a greater range of real ales, only one available.

Had to wait a long time at bar to be served only one girl serving and other people waitingWhen food arrived plates were cold I ordered scampi with mushy peas the scampi was not cooked enough & served with garden peas chips were hard husband ordered fish & chips again should have been mushy peas & fish was dry
