We are new to the area and Newtown Fish & Keebab House was recommended to us. The staff are super friendly, we were given 2 different curry sauces with a small amount of chips to decide which we preferred. The food was really fresh and first class quality. Great customer service, great food. ?

Excellent as always. Great kebabs and the fish is superb. Chips are just right. I've not had a bad takeaway from this place since I've been using it, and that's over 40 years. The atmosphere is always friendly, not least that's down to the staff who seem to have memories like elephants!Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to get inside, but parking nearby can be difficult. Pavements are narrow and often blocked by parked cars.

This is the best chip shop around great staff amazing food and great prices with some super amazing deals. The service is always fast and friendly. I would not use any other chip shop when in this area I recommend the two item special only £7 I get two mini fish it comes with a generous portion of chips and a choice of curry sauces it's more than enough for 2 people and very tasty.Parking: Easy to park but in busy times it can be a little hard to get a space having said that I have been at busy times and always managed to get parked close to the restaurant.

After reading all the great reports we were really looking forward to this meal of mini cod and chips. The shop was extremely busy, friendly atmosphere but the food was inedible. The batter was flat, chewy and hard, the chips felt like they had been cooked the day before- very hard and chewy. We had to throw it away. What a disappointment.

Best fish and chip shop in at least a 6 mile radius! (Everyone I speak to from Stourport to Kidderminster to Bewdley knows it as a great chip shop) Friendly staff, very clean and excellent quality food! Chips are never greasey, fish is always fresh. Great choice! Highly recommend!
