A lovely meal with excellent service in a very pleasant

Seafood lovers take note. This is a special restaurant. The seafood is sourced fresh from Cornwall and the chef is an expert who loves the ingredients and the food that he lovingly prepares. The front of house staff are friendly, attentive and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, the ingredients and where the food is sourced.The restaurant itself is a lovely place to be. We visited in late February and it was warm and cozy inside with views across the marina. There is a terrace overlooking the marina that I imagine would be lovely to sit at in the summer months.We have visited many fish restaurants and some notable ones in Cornwall but this place blows them out of the water. Well done to The Quayside. What a restaurant!

Great menu with friendly and welcoming service. Birthday meal for a table of 8 and our food was served with great efficiency. Everyone enjoyed their food. Can wait to go back. In particular, in the summer, to enjoy dining with views over the marina. A real treat, if you like fish, then you must try this for lots of choice. Tasty steaks and pasta meals too.

We had been told about this restaurant for the last several months from friends. Today we finally had a meal for a friends birthday.We were greeted by the ladies and shown to our seats and then advised about how the service worked and advised about the menu, with the fresh fish an offer.There was 8 of us and we asked if we could have the orders taken in couples so could pay bill at end separately, this was no trouble at all. Once the orders were taken we were presented with complimentary starters of home made couscous and salad, which was delicious before the mains arrived.We didn't have to wait long approx, 20 mins before our main meal was served. We all had a variety of fish and steaks, all I can say it WOW everyone of us enjoyed so much, the flavours in the sauces that our mains were cooked in were fabulous.We had the opportunity to speak with Scott the chef and owner and his wife Zoey, what a great couple that really care about the enjoyment of their guests.Loved the evening so much, I have already booked again for my birthday!Thank you for an amazing evening, highly recommended, you will not be disappointed ?

The fish menu is wide ranging from Lobster to Crab, Oysters, Mussels, Sole, Turbot, Skate, Cod to name but a few of the fresh fish from Cornwall available. Portions are generous and the staff friendly and helpful.

Wow! We all thoroughly enjoyed it! Two of us shared the seafood paella - amazing presentation and taste. Another had steak, the final one of our party, had gammon. The portions were so generous. Both raved about the taste and quality of the non-seafood which was great to see/hear, we’re all about supporting local where can! The chef heard our friend raving about the gammon and talked to him about the curing process and where he sources it from. It was a nice touch and great to see someone so passion about their profession. All of us were amazed to see the chef churning out one amazing looking dish after another! Skills! We will be back! Sunday lunch next. Thank you all!

Hi there my wife and my self visited your Resturant may be three times I must say the best sea food we ever had really enjoyed. So good I booked a table for four. Unfortunately we went down with Covid I gave you notice as soon as possible so you could re book the table.When I phoned and spoke to a member of your staff. About rebooking she was most unhelpful and said I could not re book and we lost our deposit. Well ok I understand you have guide lines to follow but ok we are pensioners and we wanted to re book at a time to suit yourselves but she would not do this. Well as I said earlier we are pensioners and cannot afford to loose money like this. In essence if we’re able to re book a group of four would have possibly netted £200 plus. Can you really afford this loss.I really hope this situation can be resolved as I would love to come back to your restaurant really fantastic place. So sorry for this review but in honesty this is what happened to us and would not like to see this happen to other potential customers.

We have been a couple of times and always 10/10!!! Came to collect a Christmas voucher and couldn’t leave without eating!!!! The mussels are to die for!! And the crab and chilli linguine is just the best, so tasty and such a huge portion!! Staff can’t do enough for you and are very very friendly!! Will continue to come here as much as we can!! Definitely recommend!!

Wow, what an amazing restaurant. You smell the goodness as soon as you walk in. Big portions, freshly caught and made, great service even with one server down. Very fair pricing

We booked table for four unfortunately we got Covid had to cancel. They would not return deposit or transfer. Saying not policy.really not happy.

We’ve received many recommendations from friends to go to the Quayside, tonight we got there and tried it. We had a great night, we enjoyed fantastic seafood meals, the staff were helpful, informative and attentive. So there’s no surprise why you need to book well advance. We do have one regret though, that is, we didn’t enjoy the Quayside before tonight. We will be back and will try one of those wonderful steaks we saw on some plates !

What an absolute joy it was eat here. The service was impeccable, the wine cold and crisp and the food. Just delicious. A scrumptious variety of the freshest fish. I had the mixed grill from the sea. I could have been sat somewhere on the coast. It’s a real treat to have this restaurant in Worcestershire
