Our go to if having a chippy tea, called on way home from work mid week, food itself was fine battered sausage chips curry sauce all tasted great,my issue was the lack of hygiene by one member of staff who popped outside with his phone then returned behind the counter coughed and wiped his face with the hand he'd just coughed into then said next please and carried on with out so much as a drop of sanitizer or washing his hands... you really shouldn't be serving up peoples food having walked In off the street messing with your phone coughing and touching your face and then people's food it's basic hygiene was only glad I was being served by someone else !!! Think bit of training is needed!!

We are so pleased to have such a great fish and chip shop in our town. The fish here is of the highest quality. Portions are large. The staff are always friendly. Word of note…payment is currently cash only (there is a cash point nearby).

Last night we held our annual Quiz night with a fish and chip supper and ordered 22 portions of fish and chips. They were the best ever. The fish was very tasty, the batter crisp and the chips - spot on. They remained very hot despite a 20 minute journey back to the village hall. Thank you...

We called in one early evening for fish and chips whilst on holiday near Tenbury Wells. The fish was tasty and juicy and there were plenty of chips. Good price, too. We have already booked another holiday for next year so will probably call in here again.

Lovely fish and chips. Well presented.

The fish and chips are of a decent standard, and I visit most weeks. Unfortunately, I've noticed recently the 'large' fish seem to shrink upon each visit. I think they are now the size that a mini fish would have been a couple of months ago.

Absolutely best fish and chips we've tasted in a long time ...we live in a neighbouring town and travelled 11 miles just to buy their fish and chips ...will definitely be back ....if I could give it 6stars I would

It's OK, fish was a bit overcooked and had obviously been standing a while.

Probably about a three and a half. Very, very busy since re-opening and first time I've been in. The good - the fish. As good as you're going to get from a non seaside chippie. Thick, soft, flakey within the batter. Really superb. The bad - the chips. Paler than a Glaswegian in January. Insipid. Just not fried near enough. It was extremely busy so guessing they were running low and frying quickly but that's not the customers problem really. Undercooked chips are. Would try again and see if the chips improve but if they haven't wouldn't go regularly or would just go for fish, oven chips would have been preferable.

Well what can I say, after using tenbury fish bar for years and being most upset when it unexplainably closed I was really excited to see my favourite chippy in the county reopen, short lived excitement, I phoned through my order and asked if the chip portion sizes had changed, I was told they were slightly smaller, that's fine as the portions were massive, I ordered a large and a small portion, I couldn't tell which was which and not enough to feed a family of 4, I also ordered a tray of donner meet with salad and mayo, the donner meet was sliced so thinly it was like eating the paper bark of a silver birch tree, the salad was equally grim being unpleasant to chew, the lettuce or what ever it was was sharp and way to chewy, meal ruined and a waste of the best part of £20 (2x battered sausage and fish cake aswell) Please please go back to how it was before it was a winning formula, a very disgruntled customer who's found himself in a no kebab unless i want to travel 25 miles to get one situation
