Visited here a while ago for Mother's Day with my family. We had a lovely evening, couldn't find any fault with the food and the atmosphere, simply gorgeous venue. We did have some minor slip ups with the service (they forgot to process our desserts) but it was an incredibly busy evening for them, can't blame them and they did apologise at the time... Plus, y'know, not as though desserts go cold!Anyway, joking aside, I plan on returning for more of the food and cocktails! Thoroughly recommend it to anyone looking for some fine dining in a warm and lively venue with friendly staff.

This hotel was by far the best we have ever stayed in.The staff were very friendly, the room was beautifully decorated and very clean, breakfast the following morning, greeted by a friendly team and the food was lovely. We will definitely be returning. Thank you.Rooms: Very clean, spacious and overlooking the river.Food & drinks: Only had breakfast, but lots to choose from on the menu, food was delicious and all served by lovely friendly staff.

Came for the first time, location was faultless atmosphere inside the restaurant was extremely comfortable. The starters were full of flavours however pate to bread ratio was off could have done with more bread as chicken liver was amazing but too much pate and too small pieces of bread. Mains were presented very well with a large attention to detail when plating, full of flavours and decent size portion for the price (we had the started and main lunch deal great value for money) at the end of the meal we asked for 2 x B52 alcohol shots which when arrived both shots were on fire, when we asked the server do we blow the fire out before drinking we were told “they wasn’t sure” so as we turned around we had around 2/3 staff watching us trying to understand how to safely consume this items. Luckily a bar tender shouted to us the correct instructions on how to safely consume, be aware once blown out the shot glasses/liquid are quit hot we would recommend leaving to rest but did think it would of been better if the staff explained or knew themselves (might seem like common sense) but if you knew to an experience such as this how are you to know unless explained, but overall really good dining experience ?
