Fred's hosted our engagement drinks and we couldn't have asked for more! They made our evening so special, with a grazing table, fizz on arrival and so much flexibility to give us a wonderful evening. Staff were so helpful, friendly and professional and it was the perfect atmosphere for an excellent evening.

Fred's hosted our intimate wedding party back in September. The team were amazing throughout, we had a wonderful afternoon and the food was just delicious. Everything was perfect. Highly reccomend for any party plans you have!

Got here for 12.30 and no gluten free savoury food available. Delicious cake though!

I booked Fred’s for my husband’s 60th birthday party. As I work long hours, I had to leave so much organisation to the venue and they really didn’t let me down. The whole event passed by so smoothly. We also took a room above, for friends travelling from London. They said how lovely the room was and how well they’d slept. Excellent food, drink and ambiance. I’d thoroughly recommend. Well done Fred’s!

This was my first time in Fred's and I loved it. I love the Tything and all it's independent stores. The cakes and pastries looked lovely but I'm vegan so wasn't much for me but the latte was lovely.Vegetarian options: Not really a food place but great for coffee & cake and pastries, I had a toasted teacake.

Unfortunately my drink was made with cows milk and not plant based milk as requested. I can’t have cows milk due to intolerances but I had already returned to work before I had realised and so was unable to ask for it to be changed. I had also asked for a shot of syrup in my drink which they forgot also but I was obviously charged for!Only one vegan option available which was a cake, which is a bit disappointing. The atmosphere was nice in there, but I think I’d rather go elsewhere.

Poor service. Rude staff..wouldn't recommend with children.. was sadly looked down the noses of clientele, after a friend and i popped in for tea after picking up our children from the local school. Our children are EXTREMELY well behaved, something my friend and I highly credit ourselves for.... very unwelcoming...will not be returning... do better freds!!!

Will not be returning I booked a table for three and was told at the time of booking that there was a wedding reception inside. I asked if this would be problematic and was told it would be OK to sit outside. When I arrived I was told there was only a limited selection of food all cold and which looked dry and unappetising. I was annoyed as I was meeting friends who were travelling quite a distance and would not want what was on offer. If I had been informed about this at the time of booking I would have gone elsewhere. This is exactly what I did I went to Black & White in Foregate and had a very good brunch. I will not be returning to Fred’s
