We went the day before valentine's day. The restaurant was decorated wonderfully. The live music was fantastic and unexpected.Food was delicious, I had a pig cheek starter, steak for main and cake for dessert. All Incredible. Service was great. Will definitely return.

Nice deal on breakfast for our group, one staff member on their own is not enough to cope on a busy Saturday morning ?

Had a lovely Valentine's brunch. I ordered eggs Benedict and my wife has the eggs royal. Possibly the best breakfast I've ever had!

It was a pleasure to dine here!We had game versions served with a mousse au artichoke and a red wine sauce that was second to none. Everything was perfectly coordinated and served at the right temperature, equal to any star chef.We will definitely come back and look forward to more!

Update December 2023: Food good (but no longer excellent) and service has unfortunately taken a dive. Shame.Never had a bad meal here. Pricey so we save up for a treat but always come back . Can be very hot sometimes as no air conditioning but the staff are friendly and helpful.

Genuinely one of my favourite restaurants in the UK. Menu is great, chefs are super talented, service feels family and professional and the ambience is so warm and snug. Handled my wife’s allergies easily and produced food for her than was equally as delicious as mine, thank you. Handy car park around the corner too.

Party of six. Sunday Lunch Crimbo menu £30 a head, with plenty of choice. I had 3 beetroot starter, which was simple and delicious, followed by the beef short rib. Well cooked, well seasoned, well rested, well delicious, BUT HUGE! Be prepared to swallow your pride and ask for a doggy bag. I had the Christmas pud, which was also delicious. The staff are friendly, attentive, and given that two of our party were extraordinarily late, very forbearing. I would travel a fair distance to eat here again, given the warm friendly, atmosphere, and and wonderful food.Small niggle- the decor seemed slightly unfinished, with lots of wiring snaking hither and yon.

We visited our second time today, after finding it good the first time. This experience couldn’t have been any more different. One of our party is a coeliac, who is very sensitive to gluten. This was flagged up when booking, with an email the day before, when arriving at the restaurant and when ordering. When the food came out she asked to confirm it was gluten free, the waitress left and came back to say it was. A minute later she returned and said the stuffing isn’t so the meal was taken away and returned quickly without the stuffing. This was confirmed to be the same meal with the stuffing remover. They seem to not understand anything about cross contamination. The meal was taken away and prepared again without stuffing and without the pig in blanket, because they weren’t sure if it contained gluten. VERY WORRYING. Although initially they said the gravy was definitely gluten free it looked like a completely different gravy in the replaced meal. The replacement meal came so much later that the rest of us had finished eating already so the meal was very disjointed. On my meal I had only a single piece of broccoli which was just a stalk and nothing else. I asked if I could get some more and this was sorted after I had eaten half my meal. When paying they asked if we wanted to leave a tip, to which we said no. The payment was being taken by someone I assume to be the owner or manager. I explained the situation and it was very clear she didn’t want to listen. There was no apology or any acknowledgment that anything was wrong. The wait staff are very inexperienced and need a lot of training to get to a level where I would be allowing them to serve unsupervised.Overall I feel it would be dangerous to eat here if you have allergies.Dietary restrictions: Doesn’t take allergies seriously. Served a coeliac a meal that was containing gluten. It would be a risk to eat here if you have a severe allergic reaction to anything.Parking: Larger council car park next to restaurant which is cheap to park at. Some limited roadside parking which is restricted time during the day but unrestricted in the evening.

Visited for a Friday date night. Table booked for 7pm. Arrived a few minutes early and the restaurant was still locked so had to wait outside. Once it opened we were shown to our table but the restaurant was cold. Ordered breads and olives to start. Bread was delicious and warm but the olives came straight from the fridge and where far too cold to eat. Main course was delicious and very tasty but although warm on being served, stone cold before we finished eating. Disappointed as the pork and vegetables were absolutely delicious but I don’t like eating cold food. Such a shame as it’s a lovely restaurant and lovely food but attention to details is lacking.

Called here before visiting the Swan Theatre down the road. I last went to Worcester to eat 10 years or more ago and Ostlers was good then. Now, it is an exceptional place to eat. Highly recommended with amazing food. It deserves patronage even if you're not going to the theatre! Excellent and five stars frlm me!
