Food was great. Chap serving food was humuoros. His boyfriend behind the bar... shouldn't be working behind a bar.No sense of humour. No people skills.Complete bellend actually.Personality of a cardboard box

Visited for the third time whilst passing through the area and excellent service and excellent food once again. Dog friendly table provided with treats left for the dog. This is one of our favourite restaurants in the area. Highly

I booked a studio cabin for my 20th birthday. The room itself was nice but the overall experience was not due to the lack of customer service. The estimated time of arrival is pointless - I arrived at the specified 3pm but wasn't given the keys until after 4pm. The hot tub was good, but the lid was shredded and in the morning we discovered that the water was green and murky. The fridge was broken, leaking water/coolant all over the food we brought so had to throw the food we brought for breakfast.Upon checkout I was assured that a lady called Charlotte would get in touch within 48 hours (by 7th January) concerning a partial refund but she hasn't. After repeated answerphone messages (nobody is answering) and emails, my girlfriend and I have still had no response. The stay was NOT worth the money whatsoever and we are very disappointed in the customer service - or lack thereof.

We had booked for a show in Bromyard. The Baitings was conveniently close. We hadn’t booked a meal but, despite being very busy, the staff managed to fit us in. We are not surprised they were full because the food and atmosphere were fantastic. Unlike so many venues today there seemed to be enough staff on duty throughout our stay. The room was clean and cosy with a luxury sized bathroom. The breakfast was very well cooked using good quality ingredients. We wouldn’t hesitate to use The Baitings again and intend a return trip in the future in the summer months so we can explore more of the area.Rooms: Good sized bedroom with a large bathroom with under floor heating.Food & drinks: Excellent food and good friendly service.

Highly recommend this place. We stayed for 1 night in their Skye lodge that comes with a hot tub. Room is small which is fine and is also dog friendly at an additional cost. Only downside (weather permitting) is you have to park your car at the pub after dropping your stuff off in the lodge, which is fine as long as it’s not pouring down. Our front door was catching which meant we had to slam it close and push hard to open, it appears the door has dropped judging from the gaps, but still felt warm inside. The hot tub was nice and hot when we got inside and straight forward to use. It was pouring down with rain but the warmth of the hot tub outweighs the rain massively! We booked to have dinner at the pub which is also dog friendly (but make the staff aware prior to booking). All the staff from arriving and coming for dinner were friendly and helpful. The food was absolutely amazing. We both had the Welsh rarebit to start and the steak as main. Didn’t have room for dessert as the meals are filling. Very Reasonably priced food. We both slept well, however, would be nice to have firmer pillows (each to their own), the pitch black view and the occasional sound of owls was perfect. For breakfast, we both had a full English, both came with sourdough toast and that was amazing as well. Few towns & villages nearby, with a guide showing you things to do and see. Will be definitely coming back at some point again

Absolutely sensational evening meal and yummy breakfast following a comfortable stay in one of the on site lodges. What a hidden treasure this place is! The staff were all fabulous and did I mention the food? Honestly no words to describe how fantastic this place is! We hope to be back again soon!

Bed was really hard.Room was clean and shower was good.Downside is the excellent breakfast is not served until 08:30, so a late start to the day. Also the doors to the bar and restaurant are locked until 08:30 so you can't even check outThe evening meal was very good, and the evening bar staff were excellent.

We booked out all of the lodges and rooms for us and our family & friends as we got married at the nearby Bredenbury Court Barns.Charlotte was amazing prior to us arriving at sorting out the bookings as people were staying different lengths of times. I also arranged with her pizza and drinks the night before the wedding which was amazing. Such a good pre-wedding get together with our friends and family. They even catered for our gluten free guests. We also got the chance to eat in their restaurant one of the nights and the food was absolutely beautiful, can’t fault it!We had a lot of compliments from our family about the lodges, I know some of our guests made the most of their hot tubs. Also a shout out to Mark he was incredibly lovely and helpful during our stay! The only comments I can make is that some outside lighting round the paths to the lodges would be good just when you are walking back from the pub at night.Highly recommend here!!

Always great food at The Baiting House. The right size portions to enable you to treat yourself to a 3 course meal. Great friendly staff. Nicely decorated dining areas with comfortable seating. Highly recommended.

Very tasty and excellently cooked meals. Most had different main course and all commented positively - lamb, beef, duck and fish meals. Very accommodating of a disabled member of the party in terms of making access easy and available. As a starter / pre-starter recommend the Cheese Bread with Marmite butter.

Tremendous chef! Duck cooked to perfection & lamb off the shoulder superb. Beautifully presented. Excellent desserts & local cheese. Highly recommended.
