Stayed for one night. Ate dinner in the restaurant which was very nice. The room was pleasant but the bed was very uncomfortable. We prefer a firm mattress but this was beyond firm, and obviously well worn as there was a dip each side. Not a good night’s rest sadly.The breakfast was excellent though!

Great selection of beers. Bar area is small with low ceiling and can get cramped when busy.Didn't stay or eat but from what we saw would definitely come back to try.Only draw back cubicle in gents toilet is so small that you can barely use it unless your a stick man!!!

On a late decision we went to The Swan for an evening meal. It was a Monday and it was relatively quiet as we dined early. The food was very good, and so was the nice bottle of white wine we chose, all reasonably priced. The staff were attentive. We will go again.

Lovely, welcoming place and a good choice on the menu. We had the scallops (partner said they were cooked just right), burger (again, good feedback from the hubby!), and the duck which was lovely.They also have a dog friendly area for when we bring the pooch along
