“Not been in for three years, turns out there’s a new governor. We were made welcome on the phone and when we arrived. The good news carried on because the pint of Tribute I ordered was excellent. Following a bad experience elsewhere this was a tonic! The wine was also brilliant (I’m told by my partner). Very friendly staff, great venue (mind your head it was built in 23BC, even the Romans banged their heads on the lower beams). What a superb finish to a sunny summer weekend. They have Magnafest going on here soon, we will be back, can’t wait! ??”
