We had booked a table at a place in Ampthill. When we arrived it was a zoo so took ourselves off to the flying horse. The staff couldn't have been kinder. They were busy but after hearing of our disappointment found us a table. The food was delicious. The atmosphere was lovely. This will now be our place of choice. Thanks so much for everything. You saved our evening

We were a family party of ten celebrating 2 birthdays. We appreciated being shown to our table which was in a nice quiet location. All the servers were very attentive and personable, and everyone in our party enjoyed the food they had, although 2 had what was supposed to be Steak and Ale pie, but when they started eating they found it was actually chicken, then a few minutes later 2 steak pies arrived, but only one person decided to swap.Overall we were very pleased with our experience and all said they would definitely return again in the future.
Came in tonight with my brother. Was seated quickly and the service was excellent. Food didn't take long to come out and it was delicious!The food was amazing and plates were empty. I'll definitely be bringing him

Just visited this venue as we have not been tto this venue for many years, and I have to say our experience was fantastic.Ethan our waiter was wonderful professional and very attentive. Food (new menu) was lovely. So much so we have booked in for another meal on Sunday well done chef , waiting staff managers and all ?From Mr & Mrs Webb

Lovely decor however Service was appalling and then to stick a £25 service fee on (no option/choice) considering there was a huge lack of service, was just rude! Also the wait time for the food was awful too.
