“We had our wedding meal in the Garden Room on Friday. The food was excellent and the service prompt, efficient and friendly. The team were so attentive and offered to help us set up our table decorations etc. Nothing was too much trouble and they cheerfully serviced all our requests. They helped to make our day really special, despite not being an actual wedding venue. I definitely recommend The George Inn, for fantastic food, staff and facilities. We will be back and we thank all at The George for a fantastic experience. Lorraine and Tony”

“Update 27th July 2025.
Had a meal last night which was truly excellent, all 3 courses were delicious and beautifully presented. Wanted to thank the chef but he had gone by the time we finally left the table. Well done!
3 courses and a few rounds of drinks (including cocktails) for just over £50/head, good value.
