I am out with my Friends and Collegues dining in this place for our Christmas celebration and I can see why there is no one else here. The staff are rude and very unhelpful. Firstly, we were told in no uncertain terms that we were not allowed to order and pay individually. We had to start a tab. Eventually they let us pay individually but they made us know they were not happy. We waited a lifetime for our food, which was "meh." Now we are being told the bar is closed at 22:00 when on the website it says 22:30. My whole party are extremely dissapointed with our visit. It should have been a night of celebration but unfortunately it was more of a nightmare. We will not be back and we all will be telling our friends and family to avoid this place like the plague.

My partner and I went for a meal on the first Friday in December. It was very busy with a couple of large table bookings. The staff were coped well under pressure. The service and food wqs excellent. Special thanks to Lindi who was in charge and was a true professional.

We visited this establishment this afternoon as a party of 4 without a reservation.The place was empty on arrival apart from 2 people at a large table so there was ample seating to accommodate us.Despite this we were given a tiny table in the extension next to put style windows.You would of expected the heating to have been on being the 2nd half of November but no the radiator next to us was freezing.After the waitress ( redhead) took our order halfway through she rolled her eyes at a member of our party as if she was inconvenienced that we wanted food.After the food arrived we hardly managed to fit it all on the tiny table & they were hanging off the edge.We had no room for drinks because it was so cramped.Also the chips were not cooked whatsoever & some of the order was wrong although after calling out the chips were replaced with some that were cooked.After finishing the meal we decided against having desert because one of our party was obviously shivering so we went to pay the bill £102.03p one of our party complained to the rude waitress about the being given a tiny table when there was parties of 3-4 given tables triple the size of ours & there was still some tables that were still empty & much larger.The rude waitress put on a bizarre voice in response & bluntly said you should of asked to move!I felt disgusted & as if I was being discriminated against.If I could give no stars I would & will not be returning after such an awful experience!

We had a fabulous meal at the Yorkshire Grey and had a lovely lady serve us (apparently she is known as the old lady but she is infact the fabulous Corinne) she looked after us so well. The food was really reasonably priced and delicious. I had a pea and courgette risotto, hubby had lasagne and mum had hunters chicken. All of which I would recommend. Thanks. We will be back.
