Terrible experience! First no maple drinks even though they were advertised. I ordered a decaf cappuccino small and it was in a huge cup, tasted of hot water and milk and had to be sent back. I swapped it for a cup of tea which quite frankly wasn’t much better. Staff who swapped it was lovely and understanding , she wasn’t the one who had made the drinks! Horrid white film on the hot water for the teas. Daughter had a chai latte which was also gross and smelt of clovers! My advice go to Burger King for a hot drink!

Horrendous, staff don’t care and queue was out the door. No sense of urgency at all. Two people on the coffee machine and no drinks actually being made at a meaningful pace. I used to work for costa and I wouldn’t imagine having this little regard

Staff doesn't know the difference between frappé and iced drink. One is a blended drink the other is not but staff member doesn't know that. Don't work in a coffee shop if you dont know basics of coffee

I’ve just visited this costa coffee and I’m so shocked by the atrocious customer service. The baristas were rude and having their own conversations midway serving customers. My coffee was cold and had to wait a long time for my panini even thought the cafe wasn’t busy. No respect.

After a 3 hour drive on the motorway came to this service station to grt a nice coffee to keep me awake.. about 5-6 workers there.. only the old lady seemed to want to work, hats off to her.. All the others were standing around, young lad on the till with his back towards the customers talking to a young girl he invested his time in more than actually job.. took him 2 minutes to realise I was standing there .. didn't even apologise for the wait or not having cream for my drink I ordered.. "Caramel frappe and one for me while you're there bro" - free drinks and chilling on shift, obviously loving life here.. won't be coming back I suggest everyone to do the same unless you want a drink that's slushy, tasted like bubble tea.. P.s. staff need training on customer service, nit acceptable

Appalling Worst Customer service .. would give 0 points if possible . Im at the counter with a broken ankle with a crutch .It’s 40c outside hottest day in Uk having been in a vehicle for over 2.5 hours . Requiring an iced coffee . The lady taking my order is patronising when I have to make an alternative order when informed by her one of the options were isn’t available . At one point 5 staff members appear . Only one staff making a coffee . A customer previous to me stood waiting before me finally gets her order but the customer does appear receive an apology for the delay from the manager . Another customer is informed to take a seat as they re waiting . I witness 2 more customers are served whilst I’m still waiting for iced latte . No same offer that my drink will be brought to me as another customer was offered or albeit it clear I having a cast and crutch could do with also sitting down . Staff chatting behind the desk and the one staff making my iced latte is talking to peer with no sense of urgency . When my order arrives after 15 mins wait , the person making it can clearly see I’m stood at the counter alone waiting for my drink and she nonchalant looks at her peers and asks who is this for .. when I take the drink get no offer of apology for delay , clearly I wasn’t deemed not to receive the same minimal service as previous customers received before me . This Costa is located at Toddington Service Station - you will get Zero Service lack lustre staff who clearly don’t have any desire for serving customers . I would skip this Costa and try get a Starbucks at the Service station before Toddington or stick to the Costa Machine for a friendlier and more efficient service at Toddington !

I visited today and ordered the new Tropical Mango Bubble Frappe. After watching the barista (female, glasses) make my drink, I saw she didn’t put any popping mango pearls into the drink. I questioned this and why it was called a bubble frappe to which she told me it’s just a name and when I questioned the picture of the drink having pearls, she replied “that’s a photo, this is reality”, making me out to be an idiot. I then walked off and googled the drink to confirm I wasn’t being stupid to which I found indeed mango pearls where meant to be in the drink and she had blatantly lied to me! Within seconds of asking another barista (male, beard) about the issue, they went to the fridge and added the pearls and said they should have been added, all while the first barista gave me dirty looks when she’s the one not doing her job and lying to customers!

Only good thing was the hot drinks the downside was it cost me £15.50 for to hot drinks and 2 toasties absolutely disgusting price

This motorway services was half way on our journey. We were thrilled to see Costa! The drive through was closed, so we went in and was pleasantly surprised to see the place has clearly been updated recently, looking smart and clean. The app worked for my sister who ordered ahead, whereas I preferred to order in person. Unlike a lot of motorway services, Costa accepted my loyalty points (called Beans) for me to redeem a free drink. I had a hot chocolate and bought myself a tiffin. On our way home the following day, we made sure we stopped at the same services to get another Costa!

Nice coffee and quick service. Although the Barista could not serve my wife with a flat white with less shots of espresso which was annoying.

The ice machine has never worked at the drive through. Today they said it's because they can't be bothered as it takes too long.\\nIce driven through here once a week for about 2 years and have never had an iced anything as they've always said it was broken.

These three ladies aren't the best in hospitality (or simply poorly trained with the barista basics). Asked three standard drinks and done all bad, same for the 2 clients in front of me. The worst they challended all customers with customer submission, but forced to make prevalent my wish/order Vs what they wanted to me to have, sorry but if I don't make mistakes not easy to flex

Very disappointed with service, I have asked for 2 drinks with flavours and both was without, the guy from there missed many drinks while I was there. I'm not gonna stop there anymore.
