Duck in plum sauce - way too sweet (syrup-like) with extremely fatty pieces of duck skin, lamb with ginger and spring onion dish was also sweet, 1 item missing from order which restaurant did not apologise for when contacted - just told a replacement would be sent. Delivery fee was high given that it was local but JustEat added £3.50 delivery which included a service charge fee that delivery would have been just £1 had I contacted the restaurant direct! Avoid as quality of food is not good and order was not hot. I will stick to my normal local which is even nearer/fresher/arrives hot. Very disappointed :(

Very hit and miss as to whether you get a good meal or an awful one. I have ordered meals here during the week and have been delighted with everything - even go as far to say one of the best takeaways I’ve eaten from! However, we have tested this against a few weekend (Saturday) orders. Yuk. Not good and this happens each time. Crispy duck is not crispy duck, it is soggy fat duck. Chicken balls are, well, soggy and greasy. Not a patch on our random weekday orders. Such a shame. I know the food can be awesome. But not sure I can risk it anymore. Try and see for yourself. You may be lucky!

Do not order from wok star. They are a absolute SHAMBLES. I ordered food at 5.11pm and didn't receive it by 6.15pm, So I rang them and they told me the food was on its way. At 6.15pm I rang again to tell them my delivery.STILL has not arrived. The girl on the phone put the female manager ( I assume) who then spoke aggressively to me accusing the driver. To then say she will make my food again as the driver gave my food to someone else!!! I then asked, Well it's been over a hour and half! Could you as a good will gesture give me something And slam....The phone was cut off!!! Absolutely outrageous behaviour. I also heard the women and man arguing in the background.! Do NOT order from wok star! There duck is disgusting

Absolutely appalling! I ordered chicken balls and got prawn (which I’m allergic too) I mentioned my shellfish allergy via phone and message on app. When complained I was told there was nothing they could do even though I had food I couldn’t eat!
Terrible service , rude woman on the phone , more worried about the customers in the shop hearing someone complain , food late “again” won’t be using this terrible takeaway again , don’t offer a service you clearly can not provide ....

Absolutely not impressed. Been using them for 4 years and never again. Wrong food, overcharged and had to send it all back to be replaced with not satisfactory results.

Terrible! ordered the food, waited over 2 hours nothing turned up, told me it was on it's way, then said the driver got caught in traffic at 9pm at night when there is no cars on the road then after that told me the are cooking the food now all a bunch of lies and couldn't even be honest and just tell me the food wasn't coming

Such a shame that this has happened. This take-away has always delivered tasty, value for money food. They still do! But their delivery driver was so rude, unhelpful and lazy! He refused to deliver the food to our door! It is Covid times. A lot of people are self-isolating. He refused point blank to bring the food to our doorstep. He insisted that a member of the family went outside and got the food while he stood near his nice warm car! Disgusting! May I add, we are not self isolating, but still terrible service.
