“We had a lovely meal here with family for my partners birthday. It’s a small, cosy restaurant with plenty of seating but booking is recommended at weekends as they get very busy. The food was lovely, just felt the portion sizes for the curry mains were a bit small compared to other Indian restaurants we’ve been to. The service was great, very attentive to our needs and price was reasonable. We’ve been here a few times and will continue to return.”

“Never had a better Curry than the Haldi. Consider myself very lucky that it’s on my doorstep. It might look dated on the outside but don’t judge a book by its cover. The food is incredible. Lovely staff and wonderful caring owner.”

“We have had many take-aways from Indian Ocean over the last few years, which are always great, but last night we visited the restaurant to eat-in for the first time. The restaurant is fairly small inside, which gives it a really cosy feel and a nice atmosphere. It's a family owned business and that sets a really lovely, friendly tone to the experience.

We had one of the set meals, to try some of the other dishes which we don't normally order with our take-aways. Everything was really tasty and well made. I'd highly recommend the food from Indian Ocean (particularly the garlic chicken tikka, the chicken chilli masala and the chana rice - plus we loved the chilli lamb from the set meal), and if you're looking for a small, cosy, friendly restaurant to eat-in, then I am sure you'll love it here too.”

“Ordered from here for the first time tonight. Food was delivered in good time, despite our house being a nightmare to find. Delivery fella was proper nice and chatty, always a pleasant experience. The food itself was brilliant, I had the vindaloo and my partner had veg curry. We both had a naan bread too and they were warm, sort, and generally everything you want a nanny to be. The vindaloo was perfectly hot enough to make me feel like I was dying the whole time, and it's flavour was perfect for keeping on bringing me back for another bite every ten seconds till it was all gone. One thing I'd say is it would be nice to have a bit more meat and potato in the portion. Other than that, yea man proper good scran there.”
