Italian wife so always risky eating out at an Italian restaurant but the food here was fantastic. The Burrata was lovely and creamy and the Croquettes great too. The 'Nduja Tortelli was the top pick for us, a nice kick of spice without being too much. Home made Focaccia was a nice touch too. If you're after an authentic Italian meal with fresh quality ingredients made with passion then this is the place to visit.

43 Old Rd, Linslade, Leighton BuzzardOne of the best chip shops I visit. I’m only in Leighton a few times a year and when I am I insist we go here. I usually have a medium cod (which is huge!) and the chips. Mum orders the spring rolls for her, which she loves, and a haddock, which is generous and juicy. Highly recommend here for your fish and chips needs.

Good selection of drinks, including Guinness 0% and 3 or 4 screens showing sports. We were in on a Friday evening and it was quiet at 9pm but by then, there were 3 bouncers on the door so it may get a lot busier nearer closing times.

There are so many options available on their menu, some we needed to look up as had never heard of before! The tandoori mixed grill was only £15 and they kindly upgraded the naan that came with it to a peshwari naan at no extra cost. The chicken korma (my fav) was absolutely lovely! We also ordered onion bhaji's that were so crispy and delicious, the saag aloo paneer is also incredible l. We ordered poppadoms and some mushroom rice and they included a bag of fresh salad along with the mint sauce, chutney, and chilli red onions to go with the poppadoms for no extra cost, we ordered extra chutney and pickles. Absolutely blown away by the quality of the food. I would highly recommend calling to order as you save money this way rather than ordering through a takeaway app! It also means the restaurant don't need to pay a cut to them ? Thank you Raj Indian Cuisine for our delicious food!!! ❤️

Leighton Rd, Stoke Hammond, Milton KeynesA solid visit to The Three Locks. The beer selection was excellent, well kept and clearly cared for, which always sets the tone for a good pub experience. I went for a burger and it was nicely done, tasty, satisfying, and exactly what you want alongside a decent pint.
The atmosphere felt relaxed and welcoming, making it a good spot to unwind rather than rush through a meal. It does not try to be overly fancy, but it delivers well on the essentials. Overall, a reliable pub with great beer and good food, definitely worth stopping by, even if it just misses that extra touch that would make it a full five stars.

Old Fire Station, The, Market Square, Leighton BuzzardI genuinely think pizza express pizzas are the best out there and for a vegan and vegetarian couple, we always feel we have plenty of choice. However, the team were so friendly and seemed in great spirits despite working on New Year’s Eve and that is what means we’ll keep coming out to eat rather than ordering in. Also, even though it was busy we were never made to feel like we had to rush our meal so had plenty of time to enjoy each other’s company whilst taking our time with the food we’d ordered. Exactly what we were hoping for from an evening out of the house!

There wasn't loads of choice, but they did have a couple of things on the menu. To my surprise, when we arrived, they advised they had recently made all their Sunday lunches gluten free. I'm docking a star simply because the spring onion and cucumber accompanying the crispy duck were both dry. Presumably the veg was standing around too long, not a good idea in this weather :)

I'm not sure why there are a lot of low reviews as we have only had great experiences with Red Naga takeaway. It's always nice and hot and full of flavour, genuinely a really good Indian. The drivers have always been nice and read the notes I've left.

Grove, Leighton BuzzardLovely friendly canal side pub with garden area. Dogs welcome. We chose off the weekday early bird menu (2 courses for 22.95 before 5pm). Food was very fresh cooked, flavorful with a bit of chef’s creative flair (not just run of the mill mass produced). Although not the pub’s fault, there isn’t much public mooring available for canal boaters passing by.. it would probably benefit from more passing trade if there were more visitor moorings.

With good reason.\n\nThe food is really tasty, the service fantastic and there is still a real buzz in the place.\n\nI went there for a birthday meal and left full to bursting and very happy. There is an a la carte menu or a “buffet” option. It’s not a traditional serve yourself buffet, instead you select 6 starters and 6 main courses and the staff keep the food coming until you say stop! Even then they offer to box up leftovers! Value for money it definitely is!\n\nDishes we had included - Sweet and sour chicken, Crispy chilli beef, chicken with ginger and spring onion, Satay chicken, prawns in honey, spring rolls and chicken chow mein. Absolutely everything was hot, fresh and really tasty.\n\nIt was quite busy being a Friday evening but service was very quick and the staff (including the owner) were really friendly and attentive.\n\nIgnore the bad reviews, that’s not what you’ll get here.

Plenty of variety of real ales and not your average ones. Don't expect London Pride or Timothy Taylors (although they may be on occasionally) but be wowed by the sheer range of beers from smaller breweries in all types and colours.
If you want food, they do magnificent pork pies but it's not a place for dining.
Go here because that is the only way places like this will stay open (and resist the creep of the Wetherspoons of this world).

The food is consistently good and I believe, very reasonably priced considering how good it is. Bar staff are always friendly and observant. I know this bit isn’t part of the expected experience but the locals and regulars are always very welcoming which I reckon shows the general atmosphere of the place. Also they are very dog friendly, always finding a convenient spot for Geoffrey our big lad.

Delivery fella was proper nice and chatty, always a pleasant experience. The food itself was brilliant, I had the vindaloo and my partner had veg curry. We both had a naan bread too and they were warm, sort, and generally everything you want a nanny to be. The vindaloo was perfectly hot enough to make me feel like I was dying the whole time, and it's flavour was perfect for keeping on bringing me back for another bite every ten seconds till it was all gone. One thing I'd say is it would be nice to have a bit more meat and potato in the portion. Other than that, yea man proper good scran there.

Italian wife so always risky eating out at an Italian restaurant but the food here was fantastic. The Burrata was lovely and creamy and the Croquettes great too. The 'Nduja Tortelli was the top pick for us, a nice kick of spice without being too much. Home made Focaccia was a nice touch too. If you're after an authentic Italian meal with fresh quality ingredients made with passion then this is the place to visit.

The Three Horseshoes
13 Mentmore Rd, Cheddington, Leighton BuzzardExcellent warm baguette served with tasty ham and mature cheese accompanied by salad, coleslaw and tortilla chips. Really tasty and excellent value. Beer and wine were top notch, and the log fire and background music were spot on. My new favourite place for lunch.

Linslade Fish Bar
43 Old Rd, Linslade, Leighton BuzzardOne of the best chip shops I visit. I’m only in Leighton a few times a year and when I am I insist we go here. I usually have a medium cod (which is huge!) and the chips. Mum orders the spring rolls for her, which she loves, and a haddock, which is generous and juicy. Highly recommend here for your fish and chips needs.

Appenine Way, Leighton BuzzardLovely local pub. They do Sunday lunch every other week and we were served by a delightful young lady with dark hair. Good pub grub, with a family friendly atmosphere. Decent pool room and plenty of darts boards available.

The Picture House
8 Lake St, Leighton BuzzardThis is a large, single bar, town pub. Plenty of seating, serves food from breakfast and through the day. Good selection of drinks, including Guinness 0% and 3 or 4 screens showing sports. We were in on a Friday evening and it was quiet at 9pm but by then, there were 3 bouncers on the door so it may get a lot busier nearer closing times.
