They make everything from scratch and you can taste the quality. Staff are lovely and really fun too. Most recently my friend hired the whole restaurant for her birthday and everything was so smooth for such a large group- sensational food and fun party atmosphere, they were great hosts. Highly recommend!

Cafe The Vibes
24-30 Leighton Rd, Linslade, Leighton Buzzardhad a lovely visit to Café The Vibes recently. The highlight of my experience was definitely the amazing, friendly service from two of the waitresses called D and Molly. They were both incredibly attentive, welcoming, and very fast with service — they really made me feel looked after and added such a positive atmosphere to my visit.
My food overall was great and really enjoyable. The only small downside was that my pancakes arrived a little on the colder side and there was quite a wait for food.
I also noticed some of the other staff standing around chatting while the café was busy, which contrasted with how hard D and Molly were working.
That said, thanks to the excellent service and warm hospitality from D and Molly, and the amazing food I still had a very pleasant experience and would happily return.

The staff were friendly when entering the shop and sushi was made fresh where you could see. The food was good quality and tasted better than all the sushi I've had in MK so far. 43 Old Rd, Linslade, Leighton BuzzardOne of the best chip shops I visit. I’m only in Leighton a few times a year and when I am I insist we go here. I usually have a medium cod (which is huge!) and the chips. Mum orders the spring rolls for her, which she loves, and a haddock, which is generous and juicy. Highly recommend here for your fish and chips needs.

Good selection of drinks, including Guinness 0% and 3 or 4 screens showing sports. We were in on a Friday evening and it was quiet at 9pm but by then, there were 3 bouncers on the door so it may get a lot busier nearer closing times.

There are so many options available on their menu, some we needed to look up as had never heard of before! The tandoori mixed grill was only £15 and they kindly upgraded the naan that came with it to a peshwari naan at no extra cost. The chicken korma (my fav) was absolutely lovely! We also ordered onion bhaji's that were so crispy and delicious, the saag aloo paneer is also incredible l. We ordered poppadoms and some mushroom rice and they included a bag of fresh salad along with the mint sauce, chutney, and chilli red onions to go with the poppadoms for no extra cost, we ordered extra chutney and pickles. Absolutely blown away by the quality of the food. I would highly recommend calling to order as you save money this way rather than ordering through a takeaway app! It also means the restaurant don't need to pay a cut to them ? Thank you Raj Indian Cuisine for our delicious food!!! ❤️

The Three Locks
Leighton Rd, Stoke Hammond, Milton KeynesA solid visit to The Three Locks. The beer selection was excellent, well kept and clearly cared for, which always sets the tone for a good pub experience. I went for a burger and it was nicely done, tasty, satisfying, and exactly what you want alongside a decent pint.
The atmosphere felt relaxed and welcoming, making it a good spot to unwind rather than rush through a meal. It does not try to be overly fancy, but it delivers well on the essentials. Overall, a reliable pub with great beer and good food, definitely worth stopping by, even if it just misses that extra touch that would make it a full five stars.

Old Fire Station, The, Market Square, Leighton BuzzardI genuinely think pizza express pizzas are the best out there and for a vegan and vegetarian couple, we always feel we have plenty of choice. However, the team were so friendly and seemed in great spirits despite working on New Year’s Eve and that is what means we’ll keep coming out to eat rather than ordering in. Also, even though it was busy we were never made to feel like we had to rush our meal so had plenty of time to enjoy each other’s company whilst taking our time with the food we’d ordered. Exactly what we were hoping for from an evening out of the house!

Indian Ocean
13 Wing Rd, Linslade, Leighton BuzzardI visited the Indian Ocean last night with my grown up son, it’s been around 13 years since I was last there, having left the area, although I didn’t move too far away. I’d been coming here for around 12 years until I moved away. I used to frequent the Indian Ocean regularly and always loved the food, company and the cosy atmosphere. Sometime I’d come on my own, or with my then 8 year old son or a friend, the food was always consistently top notch.
Last night we had Popadoms, Seekh Kebab and Chicken Tikka starters, a Chicken Dansak, Lamb Madras, Kema Nan and Rice. The food was rich and tasty, the meat, succulent and juicy, and if you want a hot and spicy dish, that's what you get, no half measures or lame spiciness, hot is hot. The Madras was a dark rich sauce which looked as hot as it tasted and as a Madras should be ? The Dansak was sweet and sour with a good level of heat and flavour, this is one of my favourite dishes and it didn’t disappoint.
I don’t want to bang on about other Indian restaurants, but from my own personal experience, I have found over the years, the standard seems to have dropped dramatically, I have searched high and low for excellent Indian food in the Milton Keynes and surrounding areas but disappointingly found only average and on the rare occasion maybe ‘good’, but then you return and it’s not so good.
However, I am pleased to report, this is not the case here, it was a nostalgic visit and a blast from my past, remembering that period in my life, the good times, some highs and lows, over some great food and conversation, a reminder that some things change over time but 13 years later the food here is still as good as I remember it.
It was amazing catching up with Raj, the owner after all these years, time flies but great memories remain. We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. I highly recommend the Indian Ocean, and it can only be 5 stars!

There wasn't loads of choice, but they did have a couple of things on the menu. To my surprise, when we arrived, they advised they had recently made all their Sunday lunches gluten free. I'm docking a star simply because the spring onion and cucumber accompanying the crispy duck were both dry. Presumably the veg was standing around too long, not a good idea in this weather :)

Grove, Leighton BuzzardLovely friendly canal side pub with garden area. Dogs welcome. We chose off the weekday early bird menu (2 courses for 22.95 before 5pm). Food was very fresh cooked, flavorful with a bit of chef’s creative flair (not just run of the mill mass produced). Although not the pub’s fault, there isn’t much public mooring available for canal boaters passing by.. it would probably benefit from more passing trade if there were more visitor moorings.

With good reason.\n\nThe food is really tasty, the service fantastic and there is still a real buzz in the place.\n\nI went there for a birthday meal and left full to bursting and very happy. There is an a la carte menu or a “buffet” option. It’s not a traditional serve yourself buffet, instead you select 6 starters and 6 main courses and the staff keep the food coming until you say stop! Even then they offer to box up leftovers! Value for money it definitely is!\n\nDishes we had included - Sweet and sour chicken, Crispy chilli beef, chicken with ginger and spring onion, Satay chicken, prawns in honey, spring rolls and chicken chow mein. Absolutely everything was hot, fresh and really tasty.\n\nIt was quite busy being a Friday evening but service was very quick and the staff (including the owner) were really friendly and attentive.\n\nIgnore the bad reviews, that’s not what you’ll get here.

Go here because that is the only way places like this will stay open (and resist the creep of the Wetherspoons of this world).

The food is consistently good and I believe, very reasonably priced considering how good it is. Bar staff are always friendly and observant. I know this bit isn’t part of the expected experience but the locals and regulars are always very welcoming which I reckon shows the general atmosphere of the place. Also they are very dog friendly, always finding a convenient spot for Geoffrey our big lad.

The restaurant is clean, comfortable and modern, Sue and her team provide a gorgeous menu selection. All the food is freshly prepared, tasty and presented well.
I recommend the Tom yum soup, the dim sum and steamed prawns. Follow this with steamed sea bass in all its forms and choose any of the delicious Thai curries and you will be satisfied.
All the prices are reasonable, providing excellent value for money with good service.

60 North St, Leighton BuzzardVery nice place indeed. Comfortable atmosphere and clean. My food was lovely, well cooked and plenty of it. Beware, the onion bargee starter is 2 very large ones. I have a good appetite and ate them ok, but others on our table struggled! The staff are super friendly and polite. Prices are average for an Indian restaurant. Parking is not bad in the evenings, there's a small free carpark across the road but you can usually find on street parking in the evening. All in all, I can recommend this restaurant pretty highly.

Delivery fella was proper nice and chatty, always a pleasant experience. The food itself was brilliant, I had the vindaloo and my partner had veg curry. We both had a naan bread too and they were warm, sort, and generally everything you want a nanny to be. The vindaloo was perfectly hot enough to make me feel like I was dying the whole time, and it's flavour was perfect for keeping on bringing me back for another bite every ten seconds till it was all gone. One thing I'd say is it would be nice to have a bit more meat and potato in the portion. Other than that, yea man proper good scran there.

I know this bit isn’t part of the expected experience but the locals and regulars are always very welcoming which I reckon shows the general atmosphere of the place. Also they are very dog friendly, always finding a convenient spot for Geoffrey our big lad.

Cafe The Vibes
24-30 Leighton Rd, Linslade, Leighton Buzzardhad a lovely visit to Café The Vibes recently. The highlight of my experience was definitely the amazing, friendly service from two of the waitresses called D and Molly. They were both incredibly attentive, welcoming, and very fast with service — they really made me feel looked after and added such a positive atmosphere to my visit.
My food overall was great and really enjoyable. The only small downside was that my pancakes arrived a little on the colder side and there was quite a wait for food.
I also noticed some of the other staff standing around chatting while the café was busy, which contrasted with how hard D and Molly were working.
That said, thanks to the excellent service and warm hospitality from D and Molly, and the amazing food I still had a very pleasant experience and would happily return.

They were extremely flexible with the timings we needed and provided an amazing buffet.

Tythe House, 1 High St, 1 High St, Leighton BuzzardPolite and attentive staff, serving quality food from a well-considered menu just hit the spot. Didn’t break the bank, in fact was well-priced. Breakfast highly recommended along with a fresh smoothie. Poached egg and sourdough bread was a dangerously delicious combination.

Appenine Way, Leighton BuzzardLovely local pub. They do Sunday lunch every other week and we were served by a delightful young lady with dark hair. Good pub grub, with a family friendly atmosphere. Decent pool room and plenty of darts boards available.

Unit 6, Harmill Industrial Estate, Grovebury Rd, Leighton BuzzardSurprisingly decent sushi for somewhere based in the middle of nowhere. The staff were friendly when entering the shop and sushi was made fresh where you could see. The food was good quality and tasted better than all the sushi I've had in MK so far. No hesitation going back there.

The Three Horseshoes
13 Mentmore Rd, Cheddington, Leighton BuzzardExcellent warm baguette served with tasty ham and mature cheese accompanied by salad, coleslaw and tortilla chips. Really tasty and excellent value. Beer and wine were top notch, and the log fire and background music were spot on. My new favourite place for lunch.
